I got back nearly a few weeks ago. The cleopatra was excellent, and in a great location. We did have a dodgy fan in our room, but it worked.
Really great place.
well its been a more than a week since i have been home and really wish i was back on holidays - had a wicked time and cleopatra hotel was lovely. Rooms were clean but basic which was fine with me and staff were fab.

Stayed at the Cleopatra Hotel for two weeks in 2001 and thought it was great.
Just arrived back from Kardamena and stayed at the Cleopatra Hotel. Although the place is very basic, once you've got used to it it's not that bad at all. We were a group of 12 and had 6 different rooms, all of which had different facilities. For example we had a balcony the size of the room, whereas others on lower floors had very small ones. The mini fridge, again only in some rooms, were useful. If you don't have a fan in your room ask at reception for one, and they'll sort you out wiht one. The bathrooms are the worst part, small and quite dirty. As with most places in Kos, you can't flush toliet paper and this can get very annoying after a while. The staff are friendly, and the pool is clean with a relaxed atmosphere.
It's located well just 30 secs to the closest bar and about 2 minutes to the main strip.
Overall this places is well worth staying in, although next time (fingers crossed there will be) I'd probably rarther pay a little more for a slightly better place. I'd give it a 7/10.
Hi Bethan - are u flying from gatwick? I think the flights have changed - ill wait until I get my tickets. How many of you going?
Hey Claire I am also staying in the cleopatra hotel on the 14th of August with kosmar-lets hope it is nice - a fridge would be good though-nothing worse than a warm drink
Claire, I never actually went to this place, sat by the pool once at about 5:30 in the morning, but that was it.
I know its good there bcuz i like a girl called beth who works at cocktails and dreams, she told me it was fine. Not sure bout the fridge thou.
Its not the superior one, I went there thinkin that it was the normal one, but it ent. The receptionist told me I had the wrong one. No doubt about it, you'll have a wicked time!!! Oh, and go to Bernies Bar, The people there are wicked.I went every night! Liked it that much, im back over there on 9th September!!Enjoy.
Hi I am staying at the cleopatra hotel for a week from the 14th Aug. Booked with Kosmar on b + b basis - however im worried as i dont think ill have a fridge im my room - need it for the drinks b4 we go out.
Can any1 describe what the rooms are like and also is the superior hotel part of this one? i saw it in the brochure but it hadnt been built.
Any info on the hotel or kardemena itself please help!!!
I have just come back from Kardamena and I stayed at the Silver Beach Hotel which is just round the corner from the Cleopatra Aparthotel. Does anybody know Beth and Frankie? They are 2 PR's that work at Cocktails & Dreams bar.
Im going out to the Cleopatra Superior Hotel on Saturday for a week! Let you know how it scores!!!
Me and my boyfriend are also going on the 7 August 2004. What time is your flight going out from where? I went about 4 years ago with my parents and this will be my first holiday aboard by myself. I loved this place when I went before. Iv been to Karamena before. There lovly bars and resturants but like I said i was about 14 at the time so I wasnt allowed to drink.
Never been to this hotel before either. If anyone wants to start chatting e-mail me at vicky18041985@yahoo.co.uk.
It was a nice holiday, we had a jolly time. the food was tastey and the paddling pool was nice and warm. i=I also had a pee in it but don't tell anyone. say hello to billy the bear for me, hope enjoy the your holiday little BoB

I'm stayin at the Cleopatra Superior Apart/Hotel next year, i know its just being built but does it look okay for four teenagers to be living in for two weeks? Is it near the bars and discos?

The doors rattled and noise echoed throughout corridors, the cleaners came in everyday but bug was lying on floor for fortnight!!! I would choose diffrently in the future.
I would like an all inclusive 5* hotel.
Please let me know availability and prices for last week in may
this was our 2nd time at the cleopatra hotel. again we had an excellent time. all the staff were first class again. we're glad that that gill b***h has taken the huff and left. maybe she could not scrounge enough off the new punters. maria is doing a first class job replacing her. stavros acting the same (stud). bill (deep down and dirty) good chef!. penny and tonya first class receptionists considering all the victor meldrews who were there. just a quick word to andreas - we will return. hopefuly the superior hotel is complete. thank you once again!!!
Visited Cleopatra Hotel and Appartments in early August of 2003. . Hotel rooms are very basic and small, but yet clean. Balcony size is below average (cannot fit three chairs on Balcony), being useless if you want the quick drink before you go out. However ironically in the apparments where freinds we met stayed in reported that the rooms were well equiped having a fridge, hob, etc etc and being adequately sized. The balconys are also much bigger. So if staying in Cleopatra Aparthotel it is advisable to go for the appartments instead of the Hotel, still having access to the pool and poolside bar. Despite these criticisms, the Aparthotel's location was superb -being just a few minutes away from a film bar (Cocktails and Dreams) and a clean beach where loungers are comparitely spaced out. Staff were delightful, all speaking good english and having a good sense of humour (Stavros, Deep Down and Dirty Chef ("Coffee, Tea"), Maria (they are all called Maria), Penny and Jill). Hotel also has computer with 56k modem connection which is useful for keeping in touch with relatives and freinds. Cleaner comes nearly every day but only changes sheets once a week. Pool is a nice size with free loungers surrounding. Like the rest of Kardamena, the hotel applies to every-one - families, couples and seeking singles (me included :P). Would come again but only to the appartments, and wouldnt mind checking the in-construction posh Cleopatra (cant remember name sorry). All in all this place has it all appart from its slightly dissapointing hotel rooms. Would strongly reccomend going alongside these criticisms.
one of our best holidays,
hotel very clean, staff exellent, pool very clean,
hotel staff all very clean (might be as they all end up in the pool)as my young nephew Daniel also did thrown in by all customers and staff mostly by that dodgy chef who also ended up in the pool.
back again in May 2004
Davie&Hannah Keir,
Janette Stuart& Daniel Rooney.
We have stayed at this Hotel several times and all i can say, its the BEST HOTEL in KARDAMENA,the rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly, they really make you feel welcome(Penny,Maria,Chef,Cheeky Boss,Stavros)and especially Gill, she made our holiday.I would recommend this Hotel to anyone,i would not stop anywhere else, we are looking forward to our next visit.

The Cleopatra is TIGHT walls are a bit thin so you can hear everything, like my mate D-A AND TRUST ME I HEARD EVERYTHING.
The boys and girls who work here are diamonds and make the place shine they are willing to help you and guide you in whatever you need.
The 4 of us who came really enjoyed the stay, oh yeah and that english bar chick who works here is well safe and OH BOY SHE CAN SHAKE DAT ASS, GO JILL ! ! ! !.
from the GRIMEY STREETS OF NORTH LONDON WE SALUTE YOU. E-UNIT.
The hotel was the best I have stayed in for a long time. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly - I felt really welcome! The location was brilliant - one minute walk to the beach and the resort itself. However, you could not hear the music from the resort itself, which is just perfect - the best of both worlds!
Brilliant hotel. Staff very friendly, especially Stavros who kept us up all night serving us drinks!! Chef made excellent coleslaw!!. Lovely pool with free sunbeds. Very clean, excellent location. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Will definitely be back.
Holiday was great! Staff were brilliant (Maria, Gill, Stavros + That dodgy chef!) Hope to return soon.
This is our third visit to this hotel and we never get tired of coming back. Great staff throughout make it a friendly and welcoming place and we will definitely return again at some point next year.(Gill is much better looking than Kat Slater!!!)
Very nice apartments, great location just off the main centre and close to the beach. Had a great time.
The barmid looks like Kat Slater from Eastenders. The Dirty Dozen, May 2003.
Perfectly placed with easy access to everything but far enuff away for it not to be noisey. Great staff (apart from the english barmaid..miserable cow)very clean and a mini bar 10/10
hotel was very friendly staff great they even sent us a christmas card after our visit
