i am going to kardemena in september 2005. we are staying in dinoris apts and booked with olympic. does any1 know how far the pool is that we will have use of? thanks
Hi I stayed in Dinoris Studios in June 2005 and I am going back in September 2005, can anyone tell me if you can book a room without going thru the tour operator and how much thy are??
Perfect Location as its only 3minute walk to the beach or pool. Its in a quiet area which is fab for the night time. The apartments themselves are clean but basic. Which is fine as we only used them to sleep in. The cleaner was in everyday. Yannis the owner was a nice guy who didnt mind me jumping on him when i was drunk. If you stay here you have to go to Anna's restaurant which we went to every night as the staff are just the best people ever and really fit, and the they have the cutest kid ever. Iv been back two days and I v spoke to two of the waiters on the phone already they all became really good mates. The pool is lovely and big but the guy who works there is a total tossa. We hadn't even sat on a lounger and he demanded we buy stuff from the bar.
Apartments in a good location. Near the outer edge of the resort, but still only a five minute walk from the bars and restaurants, which meant it was really quiet at night - apart from if you are in the apartment next to a couple having a screaming match!!!!
Dinoris was really friendly - up to a point. We wanted to keep a room on and share it with our four other friends, rather than us all keeping rooms on - and he was not happy about that, basically he thought we were trying to diddle him out of money. Once he realised he would lose out altogether he decided it was better to negotiate with us!
Rooms were really clean and Mrs Dinoris is very firendly, even giving us a galls full of flowere one morning. She appreciates you trying to say good morning in greek - which is 'Kali Mera' by the way.
We went to Dinoris Studios in June 2003 and we don't have a bad word to say about them. We found the location ideal, very quiet, but just a 5 minute stroll to the main bar streets. The apartments were very basic, but they had everything that you needed and they were always clean. As for cockroaches, we didn't see one for the whole fortnight, but I suppose that might depend on the time of year you go. We had a brilliant time and I'm sure you will too.
we cant change it now - everywhere is probably booked up and we'd lose our deposit! so what was actually bad about it?? im sure we will still have a really good time though!
Went out in october and really dissapointed with the accomadation.
The resort could not have been better though. This year I will be staying at SEVA, which has outdoor and indoor pool 24 hour bar and is full of young up for it people unlike dinoris which is like a old peoples home, Hannah if you can change your accomadation I would, if not don't fret as I'm sure you will have a good time on the island.
Me and two friends have booked dinoris studios for 2 weeks in july and we're reading all these reviews about the accomodation being really bad with cockroaches and the place never having any power...!? is it really that awful?!
The Actual apartments were ok - but we went in October and there was quite a lot of older type people in the appartments who did nothing but complain about the noise - and we didnt make that much noise - incidently the owner took their side - And the reviews said he was friendly. I wouldn't reccomend these appartments if you are loud and lively - ok if you are deaf dumb and mute though
quiet location but still only minutes from all the ammenities of the resort, mr dinoris could not be friendlier
