hi there im butch and im the barman at elga , the place is rocking , we have great laugh at pool, getting pissed all day and my cocktails are the best , , if u not like a laugh then dont come to pool to many boring people dont like it , why go to a young persons pool, trust me u will have good time ..x see u guys soon the girl i work with is from brighton too girls

Cant comment on it yet but with only 3 days till i go i can say i'm looking mighty forward 2 it (specially since theres 18 of us coming!!!!!) Give us a shout if ya see us n if ur on our flight from glasgow the party starts at the airport! x x x

    This is a hotel which has clearly seen better days.  We arrived on 19 May 2005 for one week.  We had no hot water whatsoever whilst we were there and were told that the 18-30 brigade would be there from 1 June and they wouldn't be bothered.  Name me someone who doesn't like to wash themselves before they go out????

Ello my friends, i wud lke to say dat i enjoyed my stay at elga apartmento. one of da most bautiful places i have eva been. The sun is shinine there were loads of bautiful women. Awwwww wen i look bk i crnt remember much but i can remember i was always in my apartment with loads of pretty women, i must say one of them was gr8 she is a rep and her name is shelly, dam she gave me all she got she was the best. There was another storie while i was there, i was standing nr some pub and i seen one of the bar men pisssing on lee alty i was laughin my butt off while Sean bryan anotha person i met was doing da strip dance on da stripers club for the ladies, u go Sean!!

Going to these apartments 16th june 2005, just wondered what it will be like around that time and what bars are worth going to? Thanks xxx

when i got there i thought it was crap, until i saw something amazing it made my day. i was walking along a road with sum mates chattin away and along came this dog the most beautiful ive ever seen.

This hotel is brill its quiet during the day except for steve jamie and simon chucking us in the pool everyday, and close to everything you need. Pedros is the best thanks for all those drinks late at night, i wont try to haggle with you next time like simon did though.

We had the best holiday ever, met lots of great people! bar street is quality and has two main clubs behind which are worth going to, status is better though! id def advise anyone to go cos ure gauranteed and brill time! demitris and pedros are spot on, also we want to say hi to simon jamie and steve, we wont forget ya!

One of the best holidays we have ever had and weve been to most places. Dont listern to these people going on about having to pay for a new door the question really is how did the tit brake it. quality 24 hr bar dimitris great job and i will be back next year to work with you. Quietness average but who wants to sleep your on your hols. lovely pool with great food and drinks cheers pedro for the milkshake very nice. right next to bar street and the 2 main clubs location could not be better, get there and find out for yourselfs you will have a great time.

To be fair you're not actually forced to leave your key at the reception!

Dave Berry, know what you mean someone took our key for our room, and even had a shower, the cheek of it that they even used our towels, your right security there is a no no.

Hotel Elga was ok. but you should know a few things about our stay there before you book.
1. When you first arrive you have to pay a 60 euro deposit on each room. You may as well consider this dead money as the cleaners will try and find any reason not to give you your money back. for example the was a tiny chocolate stain on a sheet from a biscuit and the cleaner said they would have to replace it. A simple wash would have got it out, but they were having none of it.
2. Some people who we had never met and werent staying at the Elga broke into two of our rooms (there were four rooms in our group). They did this whilst we were asleep in there and forced the doors open, therefore damaging them. This obviosuly wasnt our fault as we had nothing to do with them. At the time of the break in we were informed by the hotel owners sons who work there that we would not have to pay for the breakages, so no more was said about it. Then on the last day the hotel owner stung us with a 520 euro breakages charge for the doors. They siad the doors would cost 400 euro to repair and took both rooms breakages deposit. They threatened us with police involvment if we didnt pay, so we obviosuly ended up paying. We couldnt understand this as we were good guest in the hotel and often had drinks with the owners sons and stayed up with them whilst they were working on the bar.
3. Security at hotel elga is poor, anyone can simply walk in and take your room key from behind reception. The people on reception dont really seem to mind who takes which room key. This may be the case in all hotels in greece, but something worth knowing.

It has a great location - Starlight and Status just round corner. Bar street just down road. The apartment was nice and cockroach free!! The staff are ok and watch out for that cleaner shes a mean woman!!! The pool isnt that good its small and not that clean so go to Blue Lagoon its very nice there(its just across road).

elga apartments are the best! very friendly staff. dimitri and pedros are great! it has a lovely pool with a great bar. also the reception has a 24 hour bar which is perfect if you come home from starlight and fancy another drink because its close by!

Im staying at the elga apartments with my boyfriend for 2 weeks from the 14th of Augest. Where 21 and 22 and in wondering whether any other couples are going around the same time as us? EL X

the Elga is in a really good location because it has a supermarket just a little walk down the road and the bars and beach are just a bit further on. there is a club at the back of the hotel but you dont hear any music because its sound proof. the pool is really good, it has loads of sun loungers and a kiddies pool too. the pool bar serves drinks and food all day too so its handy if you dont want to go far in the day. im sure you will have a god holiday. no doubt i will see you there, im flying out on the 29th may.

Hi, just read all reports on Elga aparthotel, I'm going 22nd May with my Fella and daughter 9yrs,staying for a week. read its really good for clubbing and believe me I like a drink, but is it alright for families too? dont wanna get there and be no other kids around!!!!

The best thing about the elga was that u always had worrkers from yhe bars goin there esp the lads from POINT ONE BAR and HARLEYS they made our holiday they were so friendly and used 2 b able 2 av a brill laff wiv them they also used 2 do a dive calld the penguin dive it was so funny cheers lads u made our holiday hope 2 cu nx year in ur bar and at the elga

me and jon thought elga was brilliant the staff were very friendly and helpful the bars around kardamena were also brilliant! we plan to go there next year! thankyou to all the hotel staff (nicky, dimitri, stella, pedros and panos ) who we had such a laugh with! i would give the elga 10 out of 10!

Apartments are average (but most are in Greece) we went when it was quiet so we had not much noise to put up with, though if you want a quieter place in the summer I wouldn't recommed here as the road to both Status and Starlight run past the apartments, if you going for a party then this is the place to go (not far to fall home!!) Everyone friendly that run the place, one thing worth remembering is that there is a breakage deposit to pay (60euro) you do get it back as long as you leave things as you found them but you have to pay it before you can get your room.

we love the apartments and have stayed with stella and her two sons on many occations we went one year with 40 young people and that was one to remember.if you want lots off fun and a good time then kardamena is the place something for everone, we will be back again see you in october stella and thanks again

I PERSONALLY COMPLAINED AS I HAVE GONE TO KOS FOR MANY YEARS AND NEVER HAD TO PAY A DAMAGE DEPOSIT-BUT THIS IS IT LIKE IT OR LUMP IT!!
THEY DO INSPECT BEFORE YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK TAKE NOTE IF YOU ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET!!ALSO THE APPTS ARE AT THE CROSSROADS WHERE THE PEOPLE COMING HOME FROM STATUS/STARLIGHT PASS- NOISY AT 6AM!!!

The Elga hotel was excellent and me and my mates had a brilliant holiday!!!!!!
