Kool Pool Apartments

My friends and I visited Kardemena 2 years running! Stayed at the Kool Pool our second year but knew it from the first coz that's where all the young gals n guy's went! we absolutely loved it! Rooms were fine - just what you needed. As for them not being cleaned ours were cleaned every other day and the cleaner was lovely - if we were still in bed she would just come back later when we had managed to surface!!  LOVE Stelios - bless him he really looked after us - our sunbeds were there waiting for us in our fave spot every day so if we got up late we weren't fighting for them plus we had special cushions!!

Would recommend this as the place to go! There is so much variety for pubs n clubs it's just great! Weather is always fab too! Say hi to Pete the Greek n Stelios from me! I'm trying to get there this year in August so fingers crossed!

Went to Zante last year and although the place seems to be much better than Kos the apartments where garbage so roll on the kool pool!!

Went to kool pool this year and had heard a lot of mixed reports. Was a little worried but needn't have been bcoz they were fine. We had a room for three (two beds and a bed settee), there was plenty of room and they were also nice and clean. The maid came every day exept saturday and sunday and if you had any problems you only had to tell the lady at reception who was always happy to help.

The pool was lovely and staff all very nice too. Would definitely go back.

A lot of work has been done on these appartments from last year New Reception Area and also Air Conditioning in all appartments there are 2 different sets of appartments 1 booked through Libra and 1 booked through Kosmar the Kosmar appartments are defo much much better. Peter who runs these appartments just cant do enough for you he is such a genuinly nice guy he makes me and my family very very welcome indeed. We have been going to Kardamena for 11 years always staying elsewhere and going to Kool Pool every day, but I will defo book next year for KOOL POOL I was shown round appartments and they are nice and clean and really all that you need they are cleaned every day ( Except Sunday)

The Pool is by far the best in Kardamena. Where you can get lots of snacks etc.  

I can understand Kool Pool maybe isn't the best place for a quiet or family holiday, but if you want to have a fun holiday and see Kardamena at its friendly best there's nowhere else to stay! First went in June 2004 and been back twice since, it's true that loads of people go to Kool Pool in the day if they're staying somewhere else, because they play brilliant music and Stelios, Peter and the other staff are always so lovely and welcoming. Never had any complaints about the actual accommodation cause use it to sleep and that's it. You'll have a brilliant time there, make sure you try Stone Roses bar and Mad Club out!

can you help  i am going to kool pool with my family the end of may for two weeks with kosmar have used them on my last two trips stayed at cleopatra appartments last year, kids loved it can anyone tell me what the acom like and will the beach's be ready as they where still doing th sand last year.

hey, we are heading out there on the 12th july 4 a couple of weeks...reviews are really mixed lol so not quite sure what to expect right now...don't care too much bout the size or whatever of apartments cos we won't be spendin much time there, but would like to know if they are gonna be kinda clean...we are goin with kosmar

me and 10 of me m8's goin kool pool on the 8th july for 2 weeks, anyone else there same time and is it true that a lot of people go to kool pool socially in the day. is it a great place to pull

Hey we went to zante last year and it was wicked!! kos just doesnt seem much kop compared with zante can anyone recommend a busy club that doesnt play r n b as we all loathe it? can recoomend zante for nayone cherrybay all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we stayed at this hotel in august 2003 and thought it was absolutely terrible - no reception, no staff, no cleanliness, no quietness, no help from anyone when needed, no security!!

i was there august 2005. the pool is the best thing about it. it is cleaned properly every single night (never saw a bug!), the cheesy chips are lush and we loved being serinaded by the little girl everyday. the apts are clean, if a little old fashioned, but what more do u need? kos is too beautiful to just sit in ya room all the time, its just a place to sleep and have a few drinks b4 heading off to eat and drink urself happy. the beach at kardamena is lovely and clean (we even had cocktails brought to us) but im not a shingle person, tho i did try the bumper boats and got soaked, great fun. the little train is a must, we did it once and it was great even spotted some sharks. we had a car and managed to see most of the island, as well as a day trip to bodrum. i have to say my bin was emptied 3 times a week as well as loo rolls provided, but there is nothing to stop you from getting rid of ur own rubbish, after all were not all lucky enough to have a maid at home. all round one of the best holidays weve had, i saw 1 cockroach the whole time i was there no ants at all and the balcony was fab (we had the end one so we had 2!) id reccomend kool pool to anyone and kos in general, trying crete this year.

kool pool apts were fab. didn't have any problems with the rooms, doubt i would have minded cos the pool and the staff are fantastic, i'm going back for the third time in two years soon. look out for the yogi bear song and s**ggy tapes! maybe not so good for families, both accommodation and other guests, but for a young n lively thing its perfect!

Kos and Kardamena were lovely I do recommend greek night lots of fun and the booze keeps flowing. In regards to the apartment it was average the shower kept leaking all over the bathroom ,we had ants all over our room and the bin never got emptied. The shared pool is standard and the owner is very proud of keeping it clean. I would go back to Kadamena but perhaps to another apartment.

we went in may 2004 and we are going in may 2005 this year it was really wicked the apartments were really clean i sooooooo enjoyed myself!!!!! i cant wait to come again this year it's goin to be even beter this year though we are coming for 2 weeks in stead of 1 i come with my family loads of us and all i can say is i loved it and cant wait to c*m again!!! thanks again!! x x x

IN ADDITION......... the area where the apartments are is good as you area few mins away from the bars and beach, but the somewhat wasteland sounding the apartments and the building site put us off staying arround the appartments long

The apartments were nice and were cleaned 6 times a week and the cleaners were very nice and friendly, even if you did sleep a little late lol(3pm). Our room had a kettle, hotplate, plates, bowls and eating utencils.the set out was nice for the couple in the bedroom as it is very dark even during the day where the shutters closed, but the person in the kitchen on the sofa bed had a hard time when the sun came up as the curtains were quite flimsy.
The whole apartment is lovely and quiet, apart from neighbours that constantly move their furniture as that comes straight through the walls, but loud sounds like that are few and far between so it is a nice and very quiet room. The apartments are just a few minutes from a very friendly bar called the trojan horse, (probably the friendliest bar in all kardamena).
My only problems were with the guy running the pool as he was very unfriendly and helpful, unlike what people had wrote on the internet!
he seemed more contempt to just jump in the pool every now and then, than to serve. and the other problem was BEING THREATENED BY FAMILY OF THE OWNER OF THE APARTMENTS because me and my friends were having a water fight with a couple of little girls who were also on holiday, and they were exposed to the foul english and greek language of this person, who also threatened to have us evicted. But nothing came of this.
Apart from this mishap we had a most amazing time in kardamena.

me and my daughter went in may this year and loved everyminute of it, the rooms were very basic and the showers were crap but nothing to really complain about. the staff are very friendly and the barbeque on monday night is great and you get to play crap s**t bingo (that is it's real name, you'll understand why when you've been)
i enjoyed it so much me and my friend have already booked for august next year on a girlie holiday as the nightife is great

these apartments were good, il be stayin in them next season again! good location as quite near bar street and straight across from Starlight, my apartment was very clean, tho the guys we were with had ants in theirs so maybe not that great! no safety boxes but theres a place at the bottom of the road u can put your stuff and its safe! quite noisy at nyt, but who stays in anyway? u dont come home till 6 and by that time your too pissed to care! defo recommend them (ask for one up tho)

The Apartments were very basic but clean. The location of the Apartments were fine not a long walk from the main square. There is no safe boxes in these apartments. You can get a Free safe in the town square.

Just down the main road from the Kool Pool there is a car rental shop, which has Free of Charge safety deposit boxes. You don't go on holiday to sit in your apartments and pick faults, these apartments are fine.

kool pool apartments are in the libra holidays brouchere it is fantastic in may weather is scorcing its wicked not to many drunks but a great laugh point one on the seafront is a must and status is too have fun

just been back for the second time this year and again it was fantastic. the reason the doors stick is because the temperature changes and as the doors are plastic they expand with the heat there is nothing they can do about that and cockroaches thats what you get in forign country. we had a fantastic time staff are rearlly friendley and you can get a wkd chip butty for about a quid

Room are terrible, not very clean and safety. cleaner who come in to clean are rubbish!! nice foods and not very saftey around the pool, no life guard for kids! but kos are great apart from this apartment

I really loved it here. The pool was great and the staff there provided great entertainment. The apartments were set in a great location, just out of the main area of the town with a five minute walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious however the cleaners were not the greatest, if there were any downfalls it would have to be them. Other than that it is a great place to stay and i would definately stay there again.

Toilet leaked, there were boot marks all over the walls, the door jammed and worst of all we had Cockroaches!

we had a fantastic holiday and im going back in three weeks pool was nice staff are wicked rooms were typical for grecce but we had a wicked holiday you dont go to kardemena and stay in your room

Great location for resort centre. Pools and area around brilliant, loads of sunbeds and very clean. Unfortunately the appartment was not clean and very poorly equipped also bins not emptied daily (even one in bathroom). We,ve had many holidays on various greek islands with different companies but this is the first time there have been no towels provided. No help from Kosmar rep or appt owner. My parents were in studio which although on kool pool site are owned by different person (they had towels!)and they were better.Although i wouldn't recommend the appts Kardemena was brilliant resort. I was there with my children and parents and thought it might have been too lively. But not at all, it caters for all.

Our apartment was pretty awful! Although the cleaner comes in daily, that didn't stop the toilet from not flushing, the shower tray from overflowing every time you switched on shower, or get rid of the damp patches on the walls - yes damp patches in Greece! Slight ant infestation too...... I would like to add that we made friends with someone who had a studio in the complex which was spotless and modern - opt for a studio if you are going to stay here! The pool was lovely and the food they serve is very nice. Good entertainment around the pool during day, and we can highly recommend the BBQ on a monday night. Worth every penny! Kosmar were a brilliant company to travel with and did their best to sort out our apartment. Definitely will travel with them again.

We found the apartments very basic, but really clean. Although we did stay there a few years ago now. The owners were really friendly and literally 5 mins from beach and shops.

what are the kool pool apartments like? What is there to do in Kos?

The Kool Pool in May/June is a superb place to go. Three pools, facility for kids. entertainment for all and a decent bar that serves food. ideally placed for centre of the resort. near enough for the nightclubs but far enough away if you don't want to hear them.

is the kool pool studios good or is it crap?
