Athinoula Hotel

This is a fantastic hotel we discovered a few years ago, and not only are the owners friendly they are extremely generous and kind.It was our daughters 12th birthday while we were staying there this year and Eve actually went out of her way to go into kos to buy a birthday cake for her as a surprise.She wouldnt take any money for it which just goes to show how amazing greek people are. Their BBQ night is also another great hit, the food is fantastic and plentiful for your money.Well worth a visit, and once youve been once you'll want to keep going back.

We stayed here for two weeks in Sept 2007 and cannot praise the hotel enough.  The rooms are spotless, towels changed every day including the departure day if you keeping your room on which you can do!

i thought athinoula hotel was brilliant the serve was brill and me and my family became good friends with eve cathrine and micheal who own the hotel i think next i go on holiday it will be there again. i also found that the distance to everything was great to.i have been home for a year now i really miss them i hope they are doin well

We've just returned from our first holiday in Kos.  We'll definitely be returning and staying at the Athinoula.  The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the family were welcoming and friendly - by the end of our two weeks we were treated as though we were old family friends.

My fiance and i went to the Athinoula last September.  The best place to eat in the whole of Kos is the Rainbow Restaurant Situated on the main strip.  The family who run the hotel are so nice they make you feel roght at home.

went to the athinoula for the first time in may,everyone there was fantastic.enjoyed it so much have booked to go back in september,the whole family made you feel at home.cant wait to go back to see them again.

Just returned from a 2 week break and stayed at the athinoula hotel and can only confirm what others have written before and that is the hotel is first class. the whole hotel inc the pool bar area, rooms, grounds are all in immaculate condition.  the family that own the hotel are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they make you feel very welcome. there was always room around the pool area every day and you could always find a sun lounger/parasol no matter what time of day you went there. the hotel is perfectly situated behind the main road so traffic noise was minimal and just a short stroll to the restaurants and tavernas. we are certainly planning a return visit to the athinoula in the near future and would not hesitate in recommending it.  a big hello to everyone we met there and hope to see you soon.

I have just contacted the hotel to arrange two rooms for myself and Carol and Dave and Val from Corby we are returning yet again two weeks mid August.

athinoula,is a great relaxing holiday,you holiday at your own speed,the daughter and sister-in-law are very funny,and always welcomed us at breakfast,i think i got on with all the familie,even the girl from leeds

This was our 9th holiday in Kefalos and the best, the resort has not changed that much in recent years, the difference this year was the hotel Athinoula everything about this hotel is first class from the cleanliness of the rooms,the pool bar,the location but the biggest mention of all goes to the family, nothing was to much trouble and everyone was made welcome even the people who just used the pool and snack bar.We enjoyed it that much that we have alredy booked for next year.We meet people year after year in Kefalos give it a try and I think you would be like us, excellent accomadation in an excellent resort.
PS As someone else has already quoted BBQ night at Athinoula was superb Excellent value for Euros and a good night

I have just returned from my 5th visit to this hotel. It really is a must to stay at. Very clean, ideally located. Staff and guests a pleasure to be with.

Very friendly and helpful family. Clean and well looked after hotel. Weekly bbq well worth the money plenty of selection in snack bar pool area well looked after and thourghly cleaned daily no problems from dog it was kept well out of the way family would go out of their way to help you hope the new baby is doing well keep up the good work hope to see you soon we were there july 12th 2003
