Had the most wonderful holiday at Yiannis' in September, and got married while we were there! The whole family at Yiannis were fantastic and even catered for us after the wedding, including picking flowers for my wifes bouquet and making the wedding cake itself! Apartments are superb, and yes, Yiannis Honey is the best you will ever taste! We will definately go back, and intend to get our wedding vows renewed there too. Only negative thing about the whole holiday was that it absolutely threw it down on our wedding day, but it was still lots of fun! If you do go, ask Anthoula (Yiannis daughter) if she's getting married yet! (My wife gave Anthoula her wedding dress - even though Anthoula swears she's never getting married!) Id go back tomorrow if I could - didnt want to come back! YAMAS!

 Just returned from the fabulous Yiannis apartments in Kefalos. Vey much a family concern and you were made to feel really welcome. The accommodation was basic but very clean (you only sleep in the room after all!!). At this time of the year I would recommend the air-conditioning at 5 Euros per night. I can recommend the breakfast. The Tuesday BBQ (free to guests) was fantastic, plenty of food and the 'Greek Dancing'  by Yiannis, his wife and family really made the night. all in all I could not recommend this place high enough. Definately going back next year.

well its back to the good old uk weather after another great chillout with the family a nice addition to the hols was the tuesday barbie wat a blow out and great fun , met some really nice people the Morris family from the west mids who landed two days late but in true brit spirit had a good time and the nice couple from Ruthin and a nice pair of sisters from wales I think the one was from pembrokeshire It will be a memorable holiday bless you all and hope that we cross paths in the future . Hi everyone , we have booked a holiday in Kefalos in Septmeber staying at the Yiannis Apts.

 Good posibilty of daughter and grandaughter moving to Zakynthos next year, so might be tied up a little with the move and settle them in. But will be back there as soon as possible, more like home than the uk is these days  . I decided we don't get enough holiday time to visit all the islands we like, may have to retire early and live the dream

Definately lived up to expectations. The family are all wonderful people, and really make you feel at home.

Surprised to see no new postings for these superb appartments, we will be calling in to see the family at the end of August. Can't wait to say hello and soak up the sun by the pool.

Have been holidaying in Kefalos for the last 13 years, made many friends including Antonis in the Stamatia Restaurant (right on the beach). I remember the Yiannis when it was only 1 storey high, each time we go it gets better, the family are great nothing is to much trouble. Hence we have just booked for the 6th time having had another absolute ball. Pool and bar was a nice surprise this year, it gets harder and harder to leave. Fantastic food, fantastic people and great beer.

If you are staying at Yiannis you have absolutely nothing to worry about as the rooms are good, and you even get free honey made by Yiannis the owner.

Just arrived back from Yiannis and missing it already, new pool and pool bar only add to this fantastic location. Owner and his family made us very welcome and even had a small party for my daughters birthday.

 Travelled to Kos for the first time, and stayed at these apartments. Having previously read some of the comments listed, was looking forward to a good holiday. We had a GREAT!! holiday.

First surprise was that they have recently added a swimming pool and pool bar. Then we got the complimentary honey, yummy! Then we got to know the family that run these apartments, what nice people they are, nothing was too much trouble and very friendly. Would definately recommend the Yiannis to anyone, but make sure there is enough room left for us, we will be back!!

Just got back...couldn't fault these apartments.....clean, spacious, nice location and we got the honey as well, would go back like a shot.

back to the yiannis after a 2yr break.

Really nice and clean, owners were great, with towels changed every other day. Only problem was that if you were late back from the beach there would be no hot water!

There is a little bit of a walk to the beach, but a bar (Mayflower) nearby, and the Argo restaurant on the front is wonderful, would highly recommend it if all you want is a quiet chilled out holiday.

We have been visiting the Yiannis apartments in Kefalos for a few years now and have booked to go back once again this June/July and again in September. If you just want to chill and relax, have a quiet meal & drink in the evening and mix with the most friendliest of people then you will not go wrong staying in this village.

10 out of 10.  We stayed in a family apartment.  It has 3 rooms, 1 double bedroom, main living quarters wwith twin beds, kitchenette & dining area, and bathroom.  Very, very clean.  Even I was willing to use the cutlery and towels provided, and i'm FUSSY!.  No pool, but you have use of any public pools in Kefalos.  The nearest to Yiannis is the Mayflower (Lovely with great bar area) and Billy's (Lovely, but has a bit of a hornet problem).  Location is about a 5 min walk from main centre of Kefalos.  All on one level so no nasty hills to clamber up.  Make sure you stop off at the Babis for your souveniors, the owners are lovely.  

My family & I are staying in the Yannis Studio's in May 05. Couple of queries. Is it a right old trek to the beach/shops? Also is the pool we have use of (billy's) also a walk? Cheers.

we are going to the yiannis in august, are there any decent restaurants nearby ? what are the nearby pools like and do you have to pay for the sun beds ?

THE YANNIS APPARTMENTS ARE OKAY , CLEAN AND TIDY .. AND WELL KEPT. THE ONLY FAULT WE CAOULD FIND WAS THAT THE SAFE DEPOSIT BOX COST 10 EUROS AND ALSO THAT IT COST FROM 20 EUROS TO KEEP YOUR ROOM AFTER 12MIDDAY TO 8PM..AND YOU MIGHT NOT BE IN THE ROOM YOU WHERE IN AND IF YOU KEEP IT UP TO 10PM IT IS 30 EUROS..ALSO IF YOUR IN AN LEAVING EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING ie 1AM.. THEN YOU HAVING TO HANG ABOUT OUT SIDE TILL YOUR PICKED UP WITH CHANCE OF GOING TO A TOILET

we have stayed at yiannis for the last 7 years.the apatments and studios are well maintained and clean.both yiannis and his wife sevy really make everyone welcome.yiannis is a bee-keeper and his honey really is the best we've ever had.
