Chrysoula Apartments

just had to add our comments a bit late ,once again malc and i had a great time here and have booked again for next year WHAT A GREAT PLACE

Spent 2 weeks at the Chrysoula Apartments, 1 - 15 June 2005, absolutely fantastic holiday, nice and peaceful.  Accomodation was basic, but for the amount of time u spend in them you can cope.  Do bear in mind the mains do not take toilet roll (do take nappy sacks), bins are emptied daily, but can become smelly.  The pool is the best I have every used, bar pool is great (bit pricey) but hey come on your on holiday.  Very quiet part of the resort and quite a walk to the main bit, loads of restuarants so eating out is no problem.  Supermarket about 15metres away and beach about 50metres.   Bus run into to 4 times a day, but no bus out of Kefalos after 6 pm, no taxis either, so really need to have own transport.  We love it and will be returning.  I can understand why people return year after year.  Thanks the owners and Thomas Cook tour Rep. Tina is absolutely fantastic, and she always has time for the guests.  If you are going you are lucky, wish I was returning and spending the summer but hey always another year for us

JUST RETURNED FROM TWO WEEKS AT THE CHRYSOULA APARTMENTS AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT VERY GOOD APARTMENTS BY GREEK STANDARDS VERY CLEAN AND LINEN CHANGED THREE TIMES A WEEK ALL THE FAMILY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND NOTHING SEEMED TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM GREAT TWENTY FIVE METRE POOL WITH LOADS OF SUNBEDS ALWAYS AVAILABLE BUT BE CAREFUL ROUND POOL AS THERE IS ALWAYS A BREEZE AND IT FOOLS YOU INTO THINKING ITS NOT AS HOT AS IT IS AND PLENTY OF PEOPLE GOT BURNT THE COMPLEX IS ABOUT A TWENTY MINUTE WALK FROM THE HARBOUR AREA WHERE IT SEEMS THE BEST EATING PLACES ARE BUT WE TRIED QUITE A FEW EATERIES ON WAY DOWN AND THEY WERE FINE ESPECIALLY SOCALLES AND SCORPIOS AND YOU COULD GET AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AT T42 JUST THREE MINUTES WALK FROM COMPLEX DEFINITELY WORTH HIRING A CAR OR QUAD BIKE TO GET ROUND THE ISLAND AND PARADISE BEACH IS ONLY FIVE MINUTES BY CAR WELL WORTH A VISIT WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK TO KEFALOS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE

we stayed in A block which despite other comments (being the oldest)was in good condition with new microwave/kettle the inclusion of TV/iron/board/celing fan made it a perfect apartment.

We have just booked to go there on 24 August and are looking forward to it from reading the comments on this website- thanks for taking the time to add your views.

Very clean and comfortable appartment, full of all the things you might need for a holiday. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet at night. Nice to just sit on the balcony after the sun has gone down and only hear the crickets. Owners are very helpful. Would definately stay here again.

I have been to Kefalos before and satyed at Billys Studios but wanted a change this year can anyone tell me the exact location of these apartments. Thanks. Hanna.

Lynne and Gary have just returned from the best 2 weeks holiday we have ever had (4th - 19th September 2004). We cannot say enough about the apartments or the complex. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the accessories you will ever need including safety deposit boxes within the rooms. We met so many new friends especially on the first Monday BBQ night! We were overcome by the friendliness of Chrysoula, Vissalis and Nico plus the 3 maids and all the other staff and family. We never wanted to go home we loved it that much. We certainly plan to go back again next year and hopefully meet up with the many friends we made.
To counter any negative comments that have been written we noticed that there were some comments on the bar prices but you also get free sunbeds so it is not excessive.
We recommend the chrysoula if you like a relaxing holiday.

Very clean Apartments, the owners and staff were very helpful. Swimming pool is really big and clean, free sunbeds round the swimming pool which is helpful. The food at the bar and the drinks are very expensive than you would pay around the resort but good quality.The orange juice is to die for.

we just returned from the chrysoula appts on 5-8-04 we had the most excellent time there, its a family run place and the family are great they are all very freindly and nothing is to much for them, the pool is the best I have seen with a great poolside bar that also sells hot food. Rooms are cleaned daily, they even have ironing board and iron plus hair dryer. we are most certainly returning next year.

We just returned from 2 weeks here and found it a very nice place to stay. Our appt was large and we had a big balcony but some of the other blocks had smaller ones. We were room D6. The location is perfect, quiet at night but not too far to walk to everything. The pool area is lovely. The pool is large, there are lots of nice sunbeds and a nice pool bar which also doubled as a reception. We would stay there again.

Best holiday I have had in long time, apartment was like being at home, very friendly people, location very good for walking to the bars, cleanliness very good, the maids work very hard.
It was that good, that after our holiday in May 2003, we are going back in October 2003.

Well situated in the quieter area of Kefalos but, within easy reach of amenities. Superb swimming pool and pool bar. Fantastic staff. Everything you could possibly need under one roof including, fan, tv, phone, hairdryer, iron and board. This would suit families and couples.
