Elite Apartments

Accommodation in Kos Town

Keith H

Have just come back from Kos after two weeks holiday ,It was great, we ate in the SunSet Taverna every day and we were not dissapointed, Tommy and his team were great.
I have an E mail address for them but am unable to contact for some reason. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

We went to the Elite Apartments in April 2006 on a last minute deal, having been to a number of other Greek islands but never been to Kos. Poppy and Makis were fantastic, very caring and welcoming. We met a family from Rochdale, Nicky was heavily pregnant with a young child (McKenzie) and two older children, Robert and Jessica, they were great but KcKenzie was poorly during their holiday, Poppy was great with them and very concerned, McKenzie got over her virus and was great for the rest of the holiday.
Felt like I have known Poppy and Makis for years, still cant get aq frappee better than Makis.
Hope to get back there some time, the accommodation was excellent, never stayed in anywhere as homely and clean.

These were the best apts we have stayed in Greece. We have been many places in Greece and these have been the friendliest, the cleanest and the best equipped.

Poppy and Makis are just FANTASTIC.
Eat at the Sunset Taverna next door and you will have the best food in KOS.
Tommy who is Poppy's brother is the best host you could get.
We will be going back and would recommend the Elite to every one.
When  go there you will wish you had found this place earlier, this has been the best
holiday we have ever had.
I would rate this 20 out of 10.

We stayed here May 2004 and had a great time. We had an apartment and the kitchen facilities are the best I have had abroad. The owners, Poppy and Makis are great. It was my daughter's 5th birthday while we were there and they got her a card and present. Food there lovely but more than other places so tended to try other places. Also supermarket across the road nearly as good choice as Asda (but better food) , so ate in a bit. Some nice bars if you turn left out of the apartments, very child friendly with toybox! Avoid the trip to Bodrum if you like peace and not being harrased.

My family and I are going to the Elite Apartments, Kos Town, in 10 days (not that we are counting!!). The Unijet brochure says that air conditioning is 'payable locally'; does anybody know how much it costs?

To Les, Sue & Will Morfitt,

I read your request dated the 16th of July 2004 with regard to your holiday in Kos in 2005 and you asked about things to do in Kos Town. I visit Kos on a regular basis and I have put a few suggestions on my web site, take a look. The web address is:-

Have booked a holiday at the Elite Studio's for summer 2005. There will be myself (Les) my wife (Sue) and our 14year old son (William). We are really looking forward to it and it is our second time on a Greek Island the first being Crete. Your place looks like heaven so we thought we would come and sample your quality.
Looking forward to meeting you all and in the meantime could you please if possible send us some info on things to do in and around Kos town for a family.
Many thanks
Les / Sue & Will

Six of us stayed for two weeks during the Euro 2004. Had an excellent time, didn't want to come home. Only got back home on the 8th of july and want to go back desperatley. Poppy and Makkis are friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. The atmosphere was amazing during the football although Makkis was not up for being thrown in the pool on the night of the final. An extra special thanks to Poppy for the kiwi fruit!!!! Whether you're 5 or 95 you'll have the best time of your life! In need of one or two of Poppys full english breakfasts every day! If we're ever in Kos again we'll come and visit and have a cocktail and one of Tommys T-bone steaks!
Last but not least thank you both for a very memorable stay! Hope to see you soon (very soon)

These apartments are well located about a 10 minute walk from Kos Town Harbour, and they are featured in the UNIJET brochure.
There are about 10 apartments and they have a nice pool area and a pool bar.You should try a few of their Cocktails whilst relaxing around the pool. They are owned and run by Poppy and Makis who are very helpful and very good hosts.

They have their own Website where you can find all the information on the apartments, the web site address is:-

And for those who prefer to telephone their telephone number is:-

0030 2242 025936 or 0030 2242 027841

Give them a try, I was there in July 2003.

Information on staying at the Elite Apartments, Kos Town please.

John P

up there with the better places to stay, very good welcome from the owners, Poppy and Makis, good food and cocktails (especially the cocktails!) I had an injured knee when we stayed there last year, would have appreciated not being on the third floor....but it was very nice anyway.....you'll like staying here, just a short walk to the harbour, or the beach, new supermarket open opposite as well for self caterers. enjoy.
