had a great time at sandys.stayed in the cottages and they couldnt be faulted.staff are very freindly especially petros!met some lovely people (anne & alan) thankyou both for making our holiday even better.

Sandys is a great place! its fab if you want to go for a pool holiday everything you need restaurant bar and mini market! Pedro is a funny he works behind the bar and george needs to get his beer prices sorted out 3 euro for a pint! very very clean through out cleaners there everyday with fresh towels and bedding. it is about 15mins away from kos town and a taxi is just 5 euro! so its a great location! nice and quiet if you want to get sleep from clubbing! lol! stayed for 2 weeks will be back next year!

Spent 2 weeks at Sandys in July 2005. Everything was good about the place. The apartments were clean and adequate, the pool was beautiful, the food was excellent and good price, and the staff were all very friendly & helpful.

Sandys Studios definately made my 6 week holiday in Kos this summer. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, for whatever we needed they always helped us out. The apartments are lovely, I stayed in three different kinds and all of them were spotlessly clean.
The location is slightly outside of the city center but this was an added bonus to me as it was nice to relax during the day. There is always great craic at the bar at night if you wanted a night in. Food is also stunning at the bar, very handy if you're not in the mood for the busy restaurant strip!
An excellent place for families, I definately recommend it.

Having reviewed the reviews previously posted I can honestly say that Sandy's is a good solid holiday destination.

When we first arrived in Kos we weren't to sure, the hotels people were getting dropped off at were some right dumps! We arrived at Sandys at about 5 in the morning so we really just wanted to sleep !

I dont have much to say here. Stayed in the appartments. Not very clean I thought. In fact I decided to give Sandys the benefit of the doubt and was disappointed. I can see why some people like it however I found that if you had any problems, unless you were in with George et all they were not delt with on a professional basis. Also for some reason for a host he is very confrontational to some of his guests and in my opinion for no good reason in many instances. I understand that its a difficult business but I could not recommend the appartments. I didnt see the bungalows and perhaps for spending more money maybe you get a better deal. That would appear to be the problem with Sandys. Two sets of accomodation and two sets of attitudes to the clients. A successful operator would be conscious of this. Until this is rectified (and I will never know if it is or not) I could not recommend Sandys. Sorry George. Its Attitude Attitude Attitude.

It's the best and I should know..spent whole 10 weeks there with my  2 daughters and can't wait to get back. The staff are like family they could never do enough for you.all those complaints are rubbish... Have been going to Kos for 4 years and would never think of staying anywhere else.The bungalows are fantastic value and make the holiday so special.Like having your own home in Greece.The prices are the same as most of the island and if you can't walk the 10 minutes into town or get a taxi for 7pound return  I suggest a fat farm and spa or Margate next time(the beach will be right there for you.)my kids have sensitive skin and the pool is fine..they are in it 24-7 and have never so much as got red eyes.If you want good value for your money with people who do whatever they can for you then this is the place.See you in July George and co   

 Very unprofessional Claire! A rep that adds comment to an opinion page.. of course it was fantastic.. it paid your wages!! but u urself should have clicked on to the fact... We didn't think that much of the rep service we had.. thats y u didn't get the commision for our trips ect... We sorted everything ourself .. Remember our Welcome meeting? no neither did we! because u didn't give us one! U spoke to me and not the whole group!! U could have actually had alot of business from us.. f only u had took the time and effort.. U suggested lots of things but never followed them thro' ... so yes ur opinion is very important about Sandy's.. pity u didn't put as much effort into the service user rather than the service provider seems as the service user paid an awful lots of dosh to get there!

dont know how you dare saying all these things about sandys its a fantastic place and the staff are fab. I worked there last year as a rep  

What a load of bollocks this is a nice place clean tidy, nice pool, nice staff what are u all moaning about

have just read the comments on the net . we have been to sandys twice now and looking forward to a third time. the comment that we were reading were laughable. what planet were they on. George and helen and all the staff bent over backwads to help you in any way that they could. Even when the family all came they still made you part of the night. all i can say is thank you for a lovely time and lovely birthday (may 20) helens name day to. see you all in 2005

We stayed at Sandys from the 6th Oct to the 20th and I can't believe the comments from the wedding party - we found George and Pedro to be complete gentlemen, nothing was a problem to them - the prices in the bar & restaurant were at least the same, sometimes cheaper, than in Kos Town or Psalidi - definitely a place we would go back to - clean, quiet & a nice walking distance to Kos Town or Psalidi - log cabins were absolutely brilliant - our studio and the pool were spotless - good luck George & Pedro and all the staff from Rose & Bryan Samuels

Just popped in 1 year later to see how was Sandys doing. Imagine my suprise to see its still a dog and that George and his pals are still as wonderful(NOT)as ever. I can only confirm that most of the horrible experiences listed happened to us also. In our party 4 people also got sick which I directly relate to the lack of hygine in this place. The people here, who I see are still as rude as ever would want a little lesson in manners to start with. Instead of accepting that they may be in the wrong they go on the offencive.
I've never seen a site that people have got so woked up about.
George take a pill. and get a personality transplant because you are the nearest thing to Jabba the Hut in eprsonality that I've ever met. ( He's from Star Wars if you need to check.

well i have one more comment and final one.... ner ner ner ner ner ... in return to your very childish attitude what else can i say is this a commision based comment you made or are u not reading the other comments on the page from last year as well... slag all the others off as well... or get a grip you poor excuse for a woman (DON@T JUDGE WHAT U DIDN@T SEE)

well if you bothered to read my comment in full you wuld read that i included a statement that said "everyone has a different time whilst on holiday" but i will still stand by the fact that George and his staff did not deserve the insulting comments.
Sandys are a fantastic place to stay with a warm friendly atmosphere that should not have to put up with abusive insults.

I WOULD LIKE TO EMPHASISE THAT THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS ABOUT SANDYS FROM THE WEDDING PARTY ARE ABSOLUTE RUBBISH, I'VE NEVER HEARD SUCH CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM HOLIDAY AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!. GEORGE AND HIS STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY WHO WOULD DO WHATEVER THEY COULD TO OBLIGE. THE WEDDING PARTY MUST HAVE BEEN LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD OR SUFFERING FROM A PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER TO WRITE SUCH NONSENCE.
SANDYS IS A FANTASTIC PLACE WITH A WARM FRIENDLY QUIET ATMOSPHERE I WOULD SUGGEST ALL READERS TOTALLY DISREGARD THE COMMENTS WRITTEN THEY ARE UNFAIR AND UNTRUE!!!!. YES, EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES WHILST ON HOLIDAY BUT GEORGE AND HIS STAFF DO NOT DESERVE THE POOR WRITE UP.
