Had a fantastic holiday. Can only agree with all the other posters. Thanks to Vicki for looking after us on the beach, thanks to Bianca, Billy & Athina. Nothing to fault at all, had a great time & met some great people.

missing u all soooooo much. cant get time of work to come back this year.  but will definately be back next year. hope you all ok xxx

hi my friends.  thank you again for a wonderful holiday. all i can say is that if anyone wants the best holiday, then come to akti dimis. everything there is perfect. we have just returned and will be back in september.

just returned from akti dimmys this morning had a great time the kids didnt want to come home they loved it that much and they are only 2 and 5 my 5 year old is already asking when are we goin back. all the staff are very helpful and will do anything to help you. they have just opend an internet cafe in tingaki so you can pop in and surf the net or have a drink with george see you all next year lee and sam

got back last thursday from another 2 weeks here, my 7th time and my fiance's 9th.  absolutely fab as always. gets better and better every year. missing maria's cooking, can't wait to go back. miss athina, george an aki loads, an bianca, maria an billy. lovely family and fab friends. Anyone going in future they have opened fab new internet bar in main street too, called geronimo. very good :)  c u all soon love kel and paul (gibbo)

Just got back from spending two weeks at Akti Dimmys its been fantastic the apartment was lovely so clean the pool is great for kids & adults..We ate there during the day & the food is very good value.All the staff make you feel welcome & will do anything too help.We are planing too go again next year.The water park is a must what a fun day out something for all ages.I would recomend piggeeez for a fantastic sunday dinner, also you should see the size of the breakfasts.I wish we could afford too go again this year but we will have too wait til 2009.

Angela Apts are a good 20 min walk from Akti Dimmys. AD are probably the last ones on the way out of Tingaki along the seafront.

i got back today from kos had a brillient time. thanks to everyone at akti dimmys especially athena and family,christos and maria.  

bianca and her husband dont work there but i did see them daily with the children and they helped out abit  x

  Well, what can I say, just returned from Akti Dimis - another great holiday & all down to Athena and her great staff.  Superb holiday had by all.  Also managed to see Angela at the BBQ night with her baby daughter Katarina - beautiful little girl !!!  We will definitely be going back soon.

Have just got back from Akti Dimmys, had a fabulous holiday, we loved the position of the apartments, easily the best location in Tingaki, literally right on the beach, great pool, fantastic snack bar - Maria was brilliant and attentive to our English needs ie. milk not cream with our morning tea! BBQ nights are a real must. Athina couldn't have been more helpful, especially when we had cause to call a Dr, she even went out of her way to arrange for her father to pick up the prescriptions in Kos Town for us, above and beyond the call of duty we felt!! Sea is like a warm bath, although not too much to see if you are snorkelling. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Akti Dimmys to anyone, apartments were spotlessly clean always, with fresh bedding and towels every other day, only criticism of the whole holiday would be the small apartment, but for the amount of time we spent in it - bedtime - it didn't really matter!

Hi, We have just returned (Boohoo) from a great couple of weeks stay at the Akti Dimmys app. It was everything that we expected from reading others comments, Athena and the rest of the gang can't do enough for you. Hospitality, food, drinks, pool and beach all superb, would not hesitate recommending Akti Dimmys and the resort to anyone...

Lucy u can get a safe in reception there all safe not sur ehow much they are a week.

hi everyone, i have been here 6 times, different times of year and have never had problem with outside people using pool, was full when we went last an there was still beds to spare when we finally got out of bed lazily.  some greek familys come for little cool down swim then gone in hour or so.  missing everyone lots hope to see you soon, fed up of british rain, rain, rain,  think only seen sun twice since got home.

Apartment basic but kept clean and has air con - a must whilst we were there. Euro 55.00 for 2 weeks ( About 4 euros a day ).. .. approx £38.50 Less than £20 per week  

In reply to Jenny & Co - we're off to Akti Dimmys last two weeks in August too     This will be our second visit, has to be the friendliest place we have ever stayed at.  All the comments on this site are spot on.  We couldn't fault the place, the staff or Tingaki itself.  Loads of souvenier shops etc for the kids, and lots of child friendly bars & restaurants.  I can promise you won't be disappointed   The walk from Akti Dimmys to Tingaki takes about 10 mins and is a very pleasant walk along the beach road.  Bus ride to Kos Town is also a must and very cheap.  Hope you have a great holiday (may even see you there!!!).

We found the pool being open to all more of a niggle than a problem esp when the beds were taken. I should imagine that it will get worse as the season goes on.

Thanks to Jimmy and Kelly for your replies, the pool being open to all and sundry is the only thing putting us off booking at the moment, does it cause much of a problem? If so we may have to stump up the extra cash for the Mayflower again.

I love it there i've been there three times. Athina, george, angela, maria,christos,aki and demitri are so friendly i love going there.i have just been and now i'am upset. i didn't want to come back.thanks everyone for being so friendly hope to see you soon.    love Poppy

Hi Akti dimmy fans, going for the first time, second two weeks of August, just wondered if you could recommend any good restaurants and places to visit. We are two families with two children each, ages 11,11,9 and 7. Haven't been able to find much information about Tingaki itself, with regard to souvenir shops (The children look forward to spending a couple of euros in the evenings!), restaurants and is it a nice walk from Akti Dimmys in the evening.

Hi, we are thinking of booking two weeks here for next summer, does anyone know if the pool is still open to the general public or is it just for guests?

Got back this morning after another fab very hot 2 weeks at atki dimmys.  Didn't want to come home, miss Athina and everybody lots and can't wait to go back.

We are heading back to Tingaki and Akti Dimmys in August.  This will be our second visit - we loved it so much we're taking all our family back with us this time.  Cannot fault the apartments or the staff.  Location is superb - right opposite the gorgeous  beach and shallow sea, ideal for young children. Can't wait to visit Zia up in the mountains and see that beautiful sunset again !!!!  Roll on August 16th !!!

We visit Akti Dimis twice a year. The best hotel in Kos without a doubt.

Been going to Akti Dimmys now  for 16 years, and you won't be disapointed. There are 2 pools situated in the hotel, one for children and one for adults so you wont need to move!Also a very good snack bar and games room. If you get bored the beach is just across the road. Lots of  good restaurants in Tigaki, try Milos where George will make you very welcome, a very family friendly, family run taverna just down the road called Ifestos also do exellent meals and snacks. Enjoy yourselves. You will not need to move from the hotel if you don't want too and Athena and the gang will look after you.Supermarket next door selling just about everything. Enjoy!

Went here back in 2005 with dad and step mum was brillient. Dad goes every year twice a year. Im back here at the end of august with him,step mum, my sister and niece and myabe my friend kate see you all then xxx

2nd visit and it was absolutly brilliant.... Came with my parents and my best mate and there were plenty to do.  The accomodation was lovely, perfect location for beach lovers!  Lovely resturants around especially Esperos, its a 'must try' place.  It must be good place to stay in Tingaki as my parents, Denise and Wayne, have been staying there every year for 11 years. 

So pleased that Angela had her baby, all the best.       Hoping to come back this year if theres any rooms available!

A fantastic week again september -Alison an Paul you made our holiday it was great to see you both and to meet Mike an Carol at last after hearing so much about them roll on sept 07 well be there on the 8th .

Had another fab two weeks with all the regulars for the first two weeks in sept. Irini is running the bar her brother had Severn Dayz. Nice to hear Angela has had a little girl.See you all next year already booked for second two weeks in Sept.

Iam off to Akti Dimmys 18 10 06 with a four yr old is there a close supermarket to buy fresh bread and milk each am and do Ineed to take a tin opener is there a microwave in the apts and a good fridge to keep the milk fresh??I would love a sea view and quiet room but if it does not come off who should Ispeak to in the resort.I am wondering what the weather will be like in October I expect the night s will be cold, Very grateful for any advise, Diane Howe.

The hotel was lovely with the beach just across the road (WOW) the views were fantastic!!! The food was lovely and the drink even nicer!!

First visit, had read all the comments before leaving and couldn't quite believe they were true.

Had  a great holiday at Akti Dimmys.. everyone was lovely! George lukd after us when we came in at 5 in the morning!! thanks for that! Biiiiiiig hello to Terry doing the beach umbrellas- missing you! Akti Dimmys is great, just opposite the beach and the BBQ's are really nice!

Brill hotel back in September for my 6th visit in three years watch out georgie boy

Just back from Akti Dimmi's (6th July to 20th July) saw all the comments before we left and and they all lived up to them. Wonderful place and everyone is so friendly and such a good laugh. Perfect location for the many restaurants and bars and especially the beach which is about 20 steps from the front!

i've just come back from another holiday there and loved every minute of it. unfortunately i only had 1 week this time which definitely wasnt long enough for me they had to  drag me onto the plane. Everyone at Akti dimis is amazing n if any of you read this im missing u already. i've already recommended another visit to all my friends  and can't wait to come back. ps message for akis : ur gettin pushed in the pool next year  x luv u all x

Another wonderful 2 weeks spent at your fabulous hotel. Thanks to Athena, George, Maria and all the family and special thanks to Bianca for my lovely birthday cake. Thanks to James, our rep too for all his help and the entertainment in the pool on barbeque night.  

we were there from 1st june to 8th june 2006. we stayed in a one bed apartment which had 2 beds in one room and another bed in the kitchen area. Athena, maria, and all the staff were very kind and helpful. The beach is just 25 steps from the apartments and they hire sunbeds for 6 euros a day and full use of shower and toilet facilities, plus bar and snack bar. all excursions are on offer from the reps but are cheaper from tingaki tours which is situated 5 mins up the road next to the fountain. we went to turkey on the hydrofoils (20mins) 25euros.

Hey! With a little luck I will be wandering around Akti dimmis and Kos this Summer. Once I passed my exams So Athina, Aunt Bianca( yes I know you work there now ), Aiki, George and the rest should watch out. Here comes Kimmy . Personally I've always thought that my best vacation were in this hotel and I will be coming back year after year once I got a job and a study . You English folks all rock too. It's always fun to spend vacation among you English folks.

We had a brilliant two weeks at your wonderful hotel last September with our daughter and son in law and two grandsons Jordan and Brandon. Brandon did all the dancing. We will be back on 25 May for another fabulous fortnight. Cant wait to see everyone again.  The best holiday ever.

It's been already more than two years since we last stayed there. We really miss it though. Not only cuz they are our friends, but also family. I myself hope to return in the summer of 2006. I'm looking forward to it again. I love to see those familiar faces again. I still owe Angela a present and so I do for Aiki, Giorgos, Athina and Dimitri. Lets just hope I can return. Kos is like a second home to me.

just read your comment on which to go to mythos or atkim. the best hotel for me is Katras hotel it's new and just built in the last few season, it has a bar and resurant on the front and you can book with med hotels on the internet. It's one of the only companys that you don't book through a travel agent so you save bags of money.

yes the hotel is on the beach front and the pool is almost on the beach it's self.

Can anyone tell me if you get good sea views from the apartments at Akti Dimmys?

atki dimmis mainly features in "summer sun" airtours brochure been there 5 times myself and my fiance and his family been there about 8 times.   really good friends with dimitri and his family and miss them all soooo much especially athena, angela and akti,  see you soon i hope.
