I have been trying to contact the angela apartments for a few days now and the e-mail address that nicky the owner gives on this page keeps coming back as failed. Does anyone know how to contact them? any info would be very much appreciated.

18.6.14 These comments are so out of date! The staff are different now, except George & Nicky the owners. Very clean, newly upgraded room, friendly staff, & good pool & bar/food area all made for a great holiday. Thanks to Anna in the shop/bar and mad Paul & his partner Dave for good bar keeping, room cleaning, washing etc etc. The great atmosphere and fun quizzes were great, we even won a quizz, wow! We commented on no drawer space in room and at the end of our 2weeks they were organising to rectify this in all the room. Well done. If you want a friendly holiday apartment you can't beat the Angela.

Was Angela apartments good? well the kitchen utensils were not that good and the maid did not come in as often as she said she would. George was very funny but does not like it you go out all the time and do not eat at his restaurant. The pool was moderately clean but was not always open when you wanted it to be.overall i guess its alright so if your planning a holiday there enjoy yourself.

Me ,my wife daughter and fiancee returned after a week at the Angela and have also been here before. The changes are great to the pool area and new shop. Kirsty was brilliant as was the cleaner. Aircon at 45 euros a week is dear with the safe key costing 15 euros. Note the 1 remote for the aircon you hire will operate the aircon in all rooms! The older English couple running the bar/food in the morning/evening who only started a few weeks ago can be a bit slow.[Kirsty works noon till 8pm]. Always room at the pool. Prices all over the island are now rising sometimes weekly. Large draught at the Angela is now 3 euros

Me and my hubby have just returned from a week a the angela and once again it did not diappoint us!! if you have been there before boy has it changed the waste land beside the pool is now a grassed area with fantastic undercover seating as well as loads of sunbeds and a huge mini market you wont beleive it until you see it believe me.

As always Nicky,George and Kirsty who is a young english girl working in the day time were soo lovely they couldnt do enough for you. As for the cleaner well i really wanted to bring her home she works her socks off and is so friendly. Have already priced up for next year when i will be taking my parents and children. Cant wait to see you all then xx

click to enlargeclick to enlarge  Just spent 2 weeks at the Angela apartments. Had a great time as this was our first time in Kos and Tingaki.

Lucy loved the childrens breakfast and great value too, thanks Fran and Martin you made us welcome and you were always smiling and cheerful regardless of how busy you both were. Lucy also made lots of friends and spent many happy hours in the pool.

Nicky and George made us very welcome and the apartments were basic but clean, tidy, and the towels and bedding were changed alternate days.

We really enjoyed both of the Greek nights that were organised whilst we were there and we would recommend them to all who visit the place.

Overall had a great time and we would recommend a stay here to anyone who is thinking of going to Kos.

Hiya , just returned from the Angela apartments in Tingaki. This was our first time in Kos and we really enjoyed it . Fran and Martin worked hard during the day,my kids really enjoyed the  hot dog and chips and chilli. The helped find our way around the resort with their local knowledge and were always happy to help.

The owners were very welcoming and very friendly . We ate in the restaurant that they owned too and the meals were fantastic. I may have benefited from the half board option has i have four children to feed.

The apartments were clean, well maintained and had enough room. There were adequate clean towels for the week in which we stayed . The weather was gorgeous and the kids really enjoyed themselves around the poolside and in the resort.

The only fault was that the sunbeds around the edge of the pool were a little close to the pooolside . I watched a man twist his ankle on trying to walk past .
All in all a lovely relaxing break , Hopefully we will be coming back soon.

Just got home from two weeks staying at the Angela Apartments in Tingaki.

Had a fantastic time!
Would definately recommend anyone to stay here.
Nicky and George (owners) really make you feel welcome and Lesley and Fran at the pool bar always looked after everyone to make sure they had a good time!
This was our 8th time visiting Kos and we've stayed 6 times at the Angela. The recent extension to the Pool area made sunbathing more comfortable and it was extremely handy having the new minimarket right next door!

For anyone who hasn't been to Tingaki, the Angela would be an ideal place to stay. It's located 5 mins from the beach and surrounded by lots of places to eat and drink.
The rooms are basic but always adequate and cleaned every other day, with fresh towels etc.

See you next year Nicky!

just got back from tingaki and loved it.

it was my 7th time, but my partners first and he loved it too.
angela apartments are great, i have no idea why they've had so many bad reviews. its clean and comfortable, and the staff are brilliant, especially nicky.
the only thing that could have been better was the pool, it was very clean, but doesnt have many sunbeds, but for the space there is, they've done their best.
i haven't got a bad word to say about it at all, and will defiently stay there again..

joining onto the apartment is a mini market, selling everything you need.

next door to angela, heading towards the square theres a restuarant called 2FRIENDS its new this year and is brlliant, the food is perfect, and definetly value for money, and is one of the cheaper places to eat!

we will defiently be back again next year and will be staying at angela if possible!

I was there seeing them in May and going back beg of October - cant wait

We have just returned from the angela apartments in tingaki kos, and i must say that for the price that we had paid that it was well worth the money. We paid £500 for two people for one week. The apartments are clean. We did have a few concerns though:

The cleaner did not do a very good job, as she would hose down the floor tiles outside our room at 07:30am every morning splashing our door and waking us up (we set our alarm for 9:00), in doing this she sprayed the water under our door and abosolutley soaked our floor inside the apartment which we thought is quite dangerous as i am pregnant so me falling over would not of been the best end of our holiday(plus my husband would of hit the roof). The cleaner also only changed one of our bed, the bed are two single bed pushed together to make a double, which leaves a huge gap in between so you can't sleep together as such as one of you would fall down tha gap, anyway the cleaner only changed the sheets on one of these bed as the other one had 3 items of clothing on, t-shirt, shorts and a kaftan and becasue this items were on the bed she could not ne bothered to move them to change the sheets so she left the dirty ones on. We acutally laughed at this as she would of been better off not changing any at all! Our balcony view was of the fire escape stairs which we were disapointed with. We were in room 50 which is next to the bar, but the music does get turned down after midnight so its not to bad, i do think that we did get the short straw with that room, but hey for the price its good. We did have our towles change three times.

The pool is way to small for the amount of rooms there are in these apartments, there are only 15 sunbeds, but as it is an english accomodation there were no towles left on the sunbed while people when back to bed, actully most people when they had enough they took there towles and left the sunbeds free for others to use, well apart from two girls who just left there towles all day when they wernt even there, but you always get one that ruins it. There are two blocks for the angela i would have to say they there were at least 80 rooms for these apartments so 15 sunbed were not enough the photos are quite deceiving as they do make to pool look bigger then what is really is. It is about 8ft X 24ft which is too small for the amount of people staying here.

Tingaki is a great resort we loved it there so much that we are going aback in six weeks but we are not staying at the angela this time we checked out another apartment with a huge pool. The people of Kos are just so warm and friendly they are the nicest Greek people that we have meet out of the greek island that we have visited.

The beach is not so great as the sand is littered and they dont combe it each day,and the sea has about 8ft of seaweed you need to walk through before you get into the sea, so we spent our time round a pool.

And to answear my question from before yes there are safe boxes, air con is 5E a day, safe box i cant remember but was not that much, we kept the room until 11;00pm as were were not getting picked up until 2;00am or else were would of had to of been out of out room at noon, this was an extra 35E.

Hi, me and my girlfriend have just returned from Tingaki and we must say it was the best holiday we have ever been on. The Angela Appartments were absolutly supurb.

Before we went I was a bit sceptic due to some of the negative somments, but as you can see from the photos the plae was lovely.

The owner Nikki, her famiy and everyone else who worked there really made the holiday a pleasure.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with the maid changing towels and sheets every other day. The maid also cleans the rooms until they are spotless.

The pool is small compared to other places, but it adds to the character of the hotel, there are approx 18 sunbeds around the pool which is ample for a hotel of this size. The staff and nikki made sure there were always sundbeds free for poeple to use by removing peoples towels off the beds if they had been in no use within two hours.

The hotel also has it's own mini supermarket with prices comparable to the larger market up the road. In the evenings around the pool bar you will never pay the same amount for a round of drinks as they just keep getting cheaper as the night goes on.

Nikki laid on a greek nigh BBQ during the week which cost 10 euros per person with children being half the price. This was a great night with loads of food, as much as you can eat, and greek dancing and singing.

Myself and my boyfriend are going to the Angela in September, I was wondering if anyone has any contact details for Nikki, or whoever runs the place? I have a question I would like to ask.

Thanks
Sharon

click to enlarge  Hi My wife and myself are going back to the Angela Apartments in May, this will be our sixth year running. We cannot fault it for the cost, there are so many places to eat, George ( Nickys Husband) runs the resturaunt across the road. We have never had a bad meal  there or any where on the island, and the whole family treat you as one of them. Also where in England can you go on holiday  the following year and the hotel owners in the whole of the town remember you.

Chris D

I am travelling to tingakin in July 08 and staying at the Angela Appartments, I would be entirley greatful if anyone with any photos of this resort could post them as there are very limited photos available online and in the brochures. Thankyou.
