Tinkagi - Lovely resort, clean & friendly. Plenty of restaurants - To many Germans, English & indoor smokers though ....
Great location to view sun rise & sun sets ....
Akti Dimis - Very Friendly, with thanx to Athena , Cristos, Sandra & the other Checz girl (Sorry don`t know your name.) & the lovely girl in the cafe bar - what ever they pay her is not enough ....
Plus points - Nice pool, Clean & friendly. Bar OK. food nice
Appartment basic but kept clean and has air con - a must whilst we were there. Euro 55.00 for 2 weeks.. - If you have a ground floor appartment then hope you haven`t got noisy peeps above ....
Minus points - Drinks are far to expensive in their Cafe Bar eg:
Can of Coke
Supermarket next door Euro 0.70c per can = 10 cans Euro 7.00
Supermarket in Tingaki Euro 0.60c per can = 10 cans Euro 6.00
Akti Dimis Euro 1.50c per can = 10 cans Euro 15.00
For 15 Euros you can buy 10 cans in akti dimis or 20 cans in either of the other 2 shops and still have change.
Outsiders - Outsiders are allowed in free and take up the sunbeds and paying guests inflatables - could be a problem in peak season with a shortage of sunbeds and pool space. Paying guests can always go across the road and pay Akti Dimis 5 euros to hire 2 beach sunbeds though ....
Would recommend Esperios restuarant about 50 yards towards the centre of Tingaki and Mylos (Spelling) in the centre of Tingaki.
For a snack try the Akti Dimis snack bar ..
Would recommend the Lido water park - mid week was good for us. & a bus trip to Kos town @ Euro 1.60
Enjoyed our holiday helped by some great, hot weather....

8/10We found the pool being open to all more of a niggle than a problem esp when the beds were taken. I should imagine that it will get worse as the season goes on.
The local lads coming in and searching for the guests balls to play water polo could also lead to some friction as swimming a length could proove difficult.
Well worth a holiday there though ..
