An excellent place to eat typical good Greek food with fantastic service, friendly staff and an ideal setting over looking the beach.

The family who run this taverna have become very good friends of ours over the last two years and we have now adopted them as our "Kefalos family"

 Try something from the bbq! You will be amazed at how good indoor bbq food tastes, as Pappa (Jack) adds his secret spices to each dish, and you can sit and watch him cook in his clean crisp white shirt! Can highly reccomend the chicken fillet and pork and also the lamb chops. Could'nt believe we had 5 good sized chops each! Or try something from the kitchen, Maria (Mama) does a mean cheese sagankai starter and an amazing kefalos chicken which is cooked in cream, garlic and mushrooms served with fragrant rice, peas, chips or baked potato. Very clean taverna and kitchen can be seen with its gleaming pots and pans. Prodomous the eldest son who runs the Santa Barbara in high season, is one hell of A guy who speaks good english and has a wicked sense of humor! If you pop in there, tell them all that Lisa & Huw from Wales send their love and are looking forward to seeing them all next May.

 Have just returned from Kefalos. We ate at Aphrodite once. An unfortunate experience, maybe in choice I'm not sure but I had the stuffed vegetables, my boys had the lobster salad and the spaggetti napoli.The dishes we ordered were basically inedible, it was a complete waste of money. 

My boyfriend and I went here a couple of times during our weeks stay in Kefalos and had lovely meals.  It was great to see the chef cooking on the BBQ at the front of the restaurant.  The mix grill for 9.50 euro was excellent value - loads of BBQ'd meat to eat including pork chop, village sausage, lamb chop served with chips and salad.  Don't forget to ask for your free brandy shot!

me and my girlfriend went in september this year,we eat out there every night,prices very good,we had the chicken kekalos,which was very nice,the pizzas are huge,we got one to share between us,nice pleasent restaurant,the staff are very friendly,and so is the owner,who took his time to shake your hand when entering and leaving the restaurant,not many do that back home,thumbs up

Really can't understand Mr Taylor's comments, we have been going to Kefalos for 6 years this will be our 7 and we eat at Aphrodite nearly every night. Jack (owner and chef) is one of the nicest men you could ever wish to meet as are the rest of the family and staff, and if he really likes you he will offer to take you fishing.  We have tried most things on the menu and have yet to find fault with anything.

We found this a very nice place to eat, in fact we visited it twice in the 7 nights. The staff were friendly including the chef who greets the guests as they arrive and says goodbye again when they leave and the food and choice of food was excellent, so the comments from  Mr Taylor seem incredible (and childish) to me.

probably one of the nicest places to eat ,with a wide variety of  food at a reasonal price.friendly staff (all family) who always seem eager to make sure that you enjoy.get a freshly cooked BBQ its always stunning!

the service was very good and the meal more than one person could eat.  bbq menu varied to go along the main menu.  girls very friendly and helpful  i had the pork and chicken slouvaki my husband had the swordfish.

The service was brilliant, staff exceptionally friendly, value for money fantastic, great variety of dishes, try tuna fillet or swordfish fillet or both, the portions were huge.  if you like good greek food go here.

Best restaurant to eat in Kefalos we thought.  Food very nice, reasonable prices, service very good, staff very friendly.  Definately recommended.  Fantastic setting to relax andenjoy your evening meal.

This was the best restaurant in Kefalos without a doubt, food fantastic and reasonably priced and the waiters always very friendly.

Loved it, Bodramus and Mikalis the waiters,AKA Brian and Mike do a great Job has does Dad on the Grill.

Reasonable prices, good service, good food.

A lovely friendly and comfortable place to spend a few hours in the evening watching the world go by.
