Eaten here couple of times and excellent the BABY ribs are a must ....great.very inattentive and no rush to get you out .

Always eat here when we go out. George and family are great hosts. Don't think it's on their printed menu but you should ask for their meze - gorgeous

Excellent restaurant. Very friendly and they don't rush you to leave. I always look for restaurants that serve predominantly greek food and object to everything being served with chips. Here they give you the option of chips, potatoes (which are lovely) or rice. Never had a bad meal here.

Was very surprised to read the previous comment as we have been to Kefalos three times and have always eaten at Galinis. Try the lamb kleftiko and stuffed vine leaves! They are to die for.

I have had sixteen holidays to Greek islands, six of them to Kefalos. I had one meal in the Galini this year and never again. My wife and I ordered different meals and we both were unable to eat the meals served. The meals were the worst we have ever experienced anywhere in Greece. The service was poor since the waiter appeared to be more interested in Euro 2008 on the television.

The Galini restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. The food is wonderful the surroundings are clean and comfortable and the owner George and his family are always very welcoming and friendly.  The food is excellent; I have never had a bad meal from here.  Ask George what he recommends each night and you cannot go wrong!

I will be going back to Kos in a few weeks time and will be heading back to the Galini restaurant without fail 

Once again the Galini Taverna was excellent.  The food was good, the prices reasonable and George and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming.  Definitely worth a visit early in the holiday as you'll definitely want to go back.

First found Galini 4 years ago and George is still the same friendly chap, although his restaurant has now moved to just behind Kamari Bay Hotel. Only have a starter if you have a massive appitite as the main course will fill you up, espescially if you have the Mixed Meat Plate, it is huge and really succulent. Also the Lamb Kleftiko and Kokonisto are very tasty and great value for money. George remembered us and spent an hour after everyone else had gone downing a bottle of Metaxa with us. If you don't eat there then you have missed out.

Brilliant place. Food was excellent service and atmosphere were fantastic. Run by a lovely chap called George and his family, who made us feel really really welcome. Good sense of humour, very friendly and generally good fun. In fact made they made a fantastic holiday even better. All kinds of food available, Greek, Curry, Pasta, Fish, Pizza. Not to mention a good gin and tonic and nice wine!
