Hotel Atlantis is the best hotel i have ever visited. early June 2006 was a great time to visit, not quiet but not packed either. We stayed half board and the breakfast and evening meals were gorgeous, even our picky eating 6yr old was happy.
We are going back for the fourth year running, with friends who have been here five years running. We stay in self catering studios which are ok,maids come everyday are are friendly even though they can't speak much english. The staff on reception are very friendly and always happy to help in anyway possible. The kids love it as they can't come to any harm around the grounds of the hotel, and all the staff have got to know them over the last few years.Would recommend the cpmplex to anyone that was going to kos and already have done. The Delon pub up the road is well worht a visit,Costa & Dimitri make you feel very welcome.
Stayed here in May 2005. The best two weeks we've spent abroad yet. We stayed in a chalet a spit away from both the beach and pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. For an excellent night out we would recommend The Delon Pub. It's aimed at the Brits and the owner Dimitri treats yoyu as a friend, not just a customer.
FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY
We paid our fourth visit in less than 2 years recently so that must say a lot about it. Some friends of ours came to visit from Karb=damena and they were very inpressed with the whole complex especially the view from the terrace of the tropical style gardens, Out of season (May. June, Sept & Oct) it soes not get too busy.
Going there 3rd wk in oct with my family, could anyone tell me what surrounding area is like for family's and is aparthotel and hotel different cause the comments are so different.
The hotel was very, very noisy,at nightime when me ,my sister,my mum and my anti were trying to sleep there were so many people shouting and lots of music playing. We were on the other side of the hotel from the pool and we could still hear the music.
I need the E-mail adress of the appartment for to ask informations and price and the possibility to reserve. Pls could you send the address to my mail? Thanks in advance

Love it here, this year we are going back in August for our sixth visit, they make you feel so welcome, always requested a room on the beach, so wake up to the sound of the sea. it is great for family with kids of all ages. Everybody I know who has been there love it. Look at other resorts and hotels but always seem to return.
I am planning to go to the Atlantis Aparthotel does anyone know their direct telephone number? Also do they organise excursions?
We went to Kos in the second week of October for 7 days. The weather was excellent, sunny and reasonably hot each day. The Atlantis was the best foreign hotel we have stayed in. The rooms were well furnished, towels changed daily, bedding changed at least once during the week, bathroom also good. The food was buffet style, (we were half board) and an impressive choice. There was something to suit everybody.
Because of Tony's persistent recommendations we went to the Caravan one evening. As it was the general end of the season he had a restricted menu, but what we wanted was available. Because it was quiet there was minimal atmosphere in the restaurant but mine host....well, just go yourselves - you will enjoy it!!
Again the Katerina is definitely the best 3 island cruise boat. I won't spoil your enjoyment by giving anything away, but he went on a trip with only 6 adults and 3 children (and we had a great time) while others were offloading and combining to make the trip viable.
Kos is excellent for a quietish holiday at this time of year. We are early 50's.
We had to stay here one night because our fligth was delayed (34 Hours!) We arrived at about 2 am. It took they ages to allocate the rooms and them with the kids in tow we had to walk about 200 years to the accommodation block and carry all our luggage up the flight of about 25 steps to the room. It was very hot air con not working. The breakfast in the morning was terrible with very little choice for the British palate. If you like cake, doughnuts, cheese or hard boiled eggs fine. I would hate any one to go here for 2 weeks as the food looked awlful. The power kept going off and that ment the lifts don't work, you could use the toilets in the hotel because it was too dark. It had a Thomson Kids club and I don't know how you would cope for ant lenght of time?
Spent 2 weeks in a modern apartment, high ceilings and nice balcony, couldnt keep this room on till late on the last day so we switched rooms to an older studio which wasnt as nice! Maids came everyday, staff were all friendly, pool side cafe doesnt do food all day so beware! Hotel on outskirts of Kos Town so just right, not too far out but away from hustle and noise. The hotel is right on the beach so you have the choice of either pool or beach, which is great, You can hire bikes for 1.50 euros a day for 5 days from altantis and this is definately worth doing. Hotel reception and bar, etc all very impressive, 3 pools which was great because everybody was spread out. You buy your sunbeds at reception which eleviates the problem of people hoggin them with their towels early mornin!!! We have recommended this hotel to all our family, especially if you have kids.
We stayed in a modern apartment on this huge complex, maids came every day, we dont have children but there seemed to be lots of entertainment for families which was good, the hotel is right on the beach which is pebbly but water is clear and great for snorkelling.
The Atlantis Aparthotel is 30 minutes walk from Kos Town centre or 5 minutes by bus from outside the hotel. The complex itself is quite smart and the apartments are adequate but more basic. Ours had a high ceiling which kept it cool and maid service was everyday with a plentiful supply of towels and toilet rolls. Lambi beach is not the worlds best but ok. The hotel has a supermarket at the entrance but if you turn right at the exit and walk for 50 yards there is another, which is cheaper. B’s supermarket (left at the exit) 15 minutes on the Kos road is bigger and much cheaper. Local buses to the hotel stop and leave from the harbour.
We went in self catering apartments. they are in a great location, 20 yards from the beach abd are as good as any I have seen anywhere, except they were a bit short in kitchen equipment - but who eats in anyway in Kos? All set in lovely grounds and good hotel facilities available. Didn't try the restaurant but I was advised that I did the right thing, eating elsewhere.
Just returned from a week at the Atlantis Hotel, Lambi. On the headland about 1 1/2 km from Kos Town. Quite a good location, near enough to walk to town but away from most of the noise and madness.
Hotel grounds lead to the beach which is mostly sand, pebbles and shingle but ok for sunbathing and swimming. Although the sea was very cold early June.
Hotel rooms were spacious and clean. Probably the best I've had in all trips to Greece. We had half board but would opt for B&B if we ever went back. Breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet but dinner got a bit boring after a while (certainly edible but dull).
One benefit of being in the Atlantis - taxis arrived within seconds! Don't know why but it was certainly handy!
First impressions are good. The rooms are average but clean. Food is bountifull but does become a bit limited in choice by about day four.
The staff are friendly and helpfull. Don't expect to get clean bedding until day seven!! Ask for high floor (three lifts available), to benefit from the sea views. Try and get room facing north east (not facing the pools), and you won't be disturbed by the music from the pool bar when your trying to sleep. Hotel is situated at the far end of Lambi beach, about a five minute drive from the Kos town centre. Moped hire and shop outside entrance. Beach at the end of hotel grounds (100mtrs). Grounds kept well. Pools clean and large. two main pools and one paddling pool.Watch out for the hotel resturant manager, he watches everything you have from the buffet bar, abit unsettleing. Poolside cafe does excellent food. Hotel entertainment limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay, go there.. Enjoy!
We had a great time here I would strongly recommend it for families as there is heaps to do and the hotel has a great team of entertainment staff to keep everyone happy.
JUST HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY PERFECT FOR FAMILYS
