Captain Johns

Just come back from 2 weeks in kefalos and ths was one of our fave restaurants by far. the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating and we didnt have a bad meal there. we also liked the free jelly you got after your meal! am going back to kos next week and will be sure to make a few visits to Captain John's!

Still the best place to eat and watch the moon come up over the bay.

Brilliant location to watch the windsurfers falling off, staff very helpful and pleasant, chickpea and pumpkin croquets were very good, mussels saganaki excellent.

Try the chick pea croquettes they are gorgeous the only place we found them. With a greek salad, tzatziki and a glass or two of vino for ya lunch right on the beach..what more could you ask for!?

Captain John's was just as we remembered it on our last night. The food was excellent, the meals were very large and well presented and the service brilliant. Chrisoula was, as usual, very friendly and accommadating.

We thought the food was excellent especially the Ravani dessert! Lovely location, good price and friendly service. Only complaint is that you have to wait a while for the bill when it's busy, which it usually is.

Wife had sole (fried) which she enjoyed I had a lamb dish served on
pasta it looked good but was cold ( I mean just out of fridge cold)
when I told the waiter he took it away & after a couple mins he fetched it back piping hot & did`nt understand that i would not be eating his microwaved meal saying he was sorry and these things happen
somtimes.

We tried some greek specialities the food was satisfactory service was excellent location was very romantic. Not a place for the kids thou

Friendly staff, but poor food.

a very pleasent meal was had and the prices were very good, the portions were very large and none of us were able to finish our meal, complementry shots were given to all including a non-alco for the two year old, nice setting overlooking the sea..

Try the Keflako, brill staff service etc.and good location
