October

I wanted a quiet relaxing holiday to recharge and at the middle of October, that's what I got.

I expect the summer is full of kids - it was bad enough with just a few!

we went 8th to 15th oct and it was pretty quiet,even quieter after the sat 11th flights had gone.weather was good,tanned nicely without burning even without sunscreen.according to temp gauge outside poldo`s it was 31 deg on the 14th but it did`nt feel that hot,nice cooling breezes most of the time.cold at night for 4 days out of 7.would go a week or 2 earlier next time,just because it would be a little busier.very relaxing though and not many kids about if you`re looking for peace and quiet.

Just got back on the 12th October after one week of glorious sunshine and good weather. Saturday the 11th was very windy though. We think October was an excellent time to go as temperatues were like average 26 degrees. Despite this some of the accomodation, shops and restaurants were getting ready to close as the summer sun tourist season comes to an end at the end of October. However there are quite a few good ones open. Things were also getting cheaper. Don't expect a very active resort at this time though, but do expect peaceful tranquility.

I went last year 1st 2 weeks Oct going back this year same time.
The good thing about this time of year no kids English, Greek or any other nation.
The weather last year to me was quite good only rain the day I landed and a couple of down pours during the night not bothered about them plenty of sleeping water.
out and about and time on tropical beach so had fun and got a tan as I said back this Oct looking forward to it

We went for a week on 2nd and had a ball. It was a bit quiet but a good change from the usual busyness of July/August. We plan to go again for two weens next year hopeful the end of August beginning of September

We went from the 10th to the 18th! As say's below we had a day of storm, so we pretty much stayed in the appartment. But if you'r looking for a relaxing holiday it was the tops! Most places were still open...a huge selection of bars and restaurants.. EL GRECO is NOT a good breakfast place...go to the one at the other end Paradise or something..he makes the BEST english breakfast as we named him our breakfast man! And the cocktail bar at the end nearest to the main walk (with the bar not on the road) was our fav! The trips were all still available and cheaper! Unfortuantly the bubble beach was called off when we went..but St.Antonio bay is AMAZING and a definate must see. We're thinking of going back next year. Oh just to note...things were closing down as we left!

We got back on the 18th from a weeks holiday. Generally weather very good, buty we did have one big storm on Sunday 13th, and cloud and rain the following day. It could also get windy, but temperature was still OK if you could shelter from it. Best thing was that most places were not very busy, and it was easy to get served in shops and tavernas. Also some good sale offers in shops, and cheap car hire deals.

Got back 17th. Cloudy 2 days, rained for 3 days (big thunderstorms), mostly sunny for 2 days. Never very hot and often cold (we hadn't packed for the autumn weather we got).

Back on 10th October from Kefalos. Weather very good indeed. Obviously Kardenama got worse weather than Kef as other than two nights (overnight) of storms and a little bit of rain on two mornings that was it - rest of the time was beach weather. Also never say a mossi and I usual tend to get bitten if they are around! Must be lucky!

just got back, weather hot although some big thunder storms over kardamena and the club akti hotel. too many germans but otherwise a really great holiday!! would go back again no problem.

2 afternoons too windy to sunbathe without shelter and an awful storm one evening with approx 1 1/2 days of rain and a few minor rumbles of thunder. The rest of the time was cloudy but nice and warm so can't complain. Take a cardie for the evenings and watch out for the mozzies! We went last week Sept, first week Oct.

GOT TO AGREE THE BEST TIME FOR GOOD WEATHER GOOD COMPANY AND FEW KIDS!

Last of the summer wine!!! still busy, still hot,the Kids are back to school. Everyones tans back home have faded,and It shortens the winter
