Kipriotis Panorama

Accommodation in Psalidi

Absolutely unbelievable, the best hotel I've ever stayed in.  When we drew up outside on the minibus from the airport there were gasps of envy from the other people on board.  It is like something from a film set.  The rooms was enormous, about 11 feet x 30 feet I'd guess, with two beds, one king size and one large single, fridge, sofa, more wardrobes and drawers than you'll ever need, large bathroom, brilliant, easy to operate shower, dining room table with four chairs, balcony with table and chairs and lovely view.  The bar is lovely, loads of comfortable seating and good, reasonable waitress service.  Loads of comfy seating in the massive reception area.  Restaurant is lovely, staff very friendly and helpful.  Quite a good choice of dishes, let's remember it's difficult to cater for and please everyone. We only got back this morning but our experience was that the nationalities at the hotel were mixed, British and German mostly.  It is a 45 minutes walk along the front to Kos Town but we like walking.  The bus stop is handy anyway and buses are frequent.  If you want to be in the middle of the action then go in summer and stay in Kos Town but we just loved every minute at this hotel.

We went to Kos in October and stayed at the Panorama Hotel in Psalidi and it was Fantastic. Brakefast till 111:00 am and the evening meals were excellent with great variety. We tried something different every night. They were very good with our little children too. If you want a nice peaceful hotel, a short bus ride to the capital (Kos Town), then this is the place to be. Highly recommended.

Just got back from a week here (23-30/10/04). Must say that I was very impressed. Good food, staff and the hotel was great. I would return.

I stayed at the Panorama hotel from 29th Sept to 5 October. I had no problems with the hotel at all. I found it to be spotless clean, the food was brilliant, the views were great. The common areas were beautiful. I found the reception staff and maids to be very efficient. The bar staff could take lessons in smiling though. The only problems I could forsee would be if you didnt go to dinner fairly early you would have to wait for a table. I would imagine this would be a problem in high season. All in all, I would go to this hotel again even just for the food.

Having read previous comments which appear to have disappeared, I was looking forward to my stay!! We weren't given rooms in the main building, but in what turned out to be the old Hipocrates Apartments, now run by the hotel. Initailly disappointed, we then became rather pleased as the main hotel had continual problems with its drains with a very strong smell of sewage in many of its corridors, and our room was huge in comparison to the main hotel. The level of service however was appalling definitely not 5*!!! The restaurant staff were in short supply and in was quite common to wait ages for any drinks with meals, many people receiving their wine when they were already eating their desserts!!! At breakfast w often had to grab our own coffee, which was served in Thermos flasks to the table. This was never fresh unless in first as the flasks were passed from table to table by the waiters after people had finished!!! Reception staff were just as inefficient, our room being short of pool towels having only been given one, we requested another, 4 requests later it arrived, yet again this is not 5* standard. The food was exellent, with a great variety although vegetarians would have a hard time! Overall the hotel is not up to the standard of its 5* status, it is more like a Spanish 3*. The views are great, but the local beach is unusable. Considering this hotel is part of a worldwide chain Iberostar, I would expect better.

Wow Wow and Wow! The Panorama was like being in heaven. The rooms were lovely, the view was amazing and the staff were sooooo friendly and helpful. Especially Eleni in the restaurant! Will definately make sure I go back to the Panorama! Nina xxx

Just come back from holiday. The hotel was excellent. Room was huge, spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food was fantastic with lots of choice. I thought it was better than the other Iberostar hotels next door. There are two big swimming pools so plenty of sunbeds. You are provided with a beach towel, but you have to keep it for the week, so it's probably better to take your own as well. It's set on a hill so you get great views over to Turkey and the some rooms at the Maris and Hippocrates are too close to the road. Hotel Bar can be expensive if you aren't drinking house wine or beer, but there are cheap tavernas on the main road (Sports bar happy hour cocktails until 10pm). Car rental at the local place on the main road was cheap too.
NB The hotel advertises sauna and jacuzzi, but they are not functioning at the moment.

HI STAYED AT THE PANORAMA HOTEL IN MAY 2003 . IT OPENED JUST 14 DAYS BEFORE WE ARRIVED. ON ARRIVING WE WERE IN AWE OF THE STUNNING RECEPTION AREA. THE ROOMS WERE OF THE SAME STANDARD . THE POOL IS LOVELY. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND VARIED . BUT THERE WAS NO ENTERTAINMENT WHAT SO EVER. NICE AND RELAXING.

I desperately would like to know which Hotel to stay at, out of the Kipriotis Panorama Hotel and it's sister Hotel the Kipriotis Maris Hotel. They are both situated in the same complex and are both 5 stars. Has anybody been there and could give me information please? as planning to go soon in June.
