Nicon Apartments

Just got back from staying at the Nicon apartments, it was the best holiday ever! It was my second visit to the apartments and it was (if it is possible) better than my first! Have been to Kos 3 times, it is such a lovely island with lots of lovely places to visit especially Zia. I have never met so many friends including Niko,Bledi,Tina,Phyllis and Spiros. Without them the holiday would be incomplete as they are always there to make your holiday enjoyable. I am missing you all loads and hope to come back next year! Can't wait to see you all again! I have missed Bledi taking me and my friends to Nostos, also the quiz night and karaoke night but also the Greek night which is unmissable because it is a great laugh!

ive just come back of the best holiday that ive ever been on. i met so many friends, not forgeting nic and bledi , they are such cool people and im missin them loads. missing all the free drinks and bledi taking me n my friend down to Nostos. Nic took us to Marcos beach it is so nice, the jet ski was gr8. like i said im missing them all and cant w8 to go back next year. it was the best and wouldnt be the same if nic and bledi were not there.

just got back from nicon apartments and we are hoping to go back in october. the staff were very freindly tina,spirus, bledi and nico all made you feel welcome!! the gardens and the apartments were really nice and the food was beautiful. The pool was always very clean. the weather was sooo hot!! the greek night was fantastic and the quiz night was a laugh!! i fully reccomend this to every body that they stay at the Nicon apartments, best holiday ever brilliant

I have just got back from nicon apartments and i am hoping to go back for a week in october.It has got to be the best holiday i have ever  been on, and very relaxing.The pool was very clean and the food at the bar was gorgeous expecially the chicken salad.The apartment were ideal, and the veiw fr4om our balcony was over looking the mountains,beautiful. there was a mini market not far away just down the road. The staff were so so freindly it is a family business and they all make you feel at home with the free drinks n shots, nico, bledi, spirus and tina must be the kindest people i have ever met working at an holiday resort and that is the main reason i want too go back just to see  them all again. the apartments were very clean. and the beds were really comfertable. thje beaches wernt the best as they were all shings but it was a 40 miniute bus ride to tagaki beach or paradise beach. it is only a miniute walk to kos town which i bought loads of presents. there are busses which run straight through kos, there are lovely resteraunts every where there are loads of them on the see front where you can sit and eat your meals by the sea while we was there we visited a restauraunt called blue ocean, beautiful food we sat by the sea whilst eating. overall i do recommend this holiday to everyone expecially for those who like to relax with the freindly staff and the great greek nights this resort is absouloutly recommended to every one!!!

We had booked to return to Nicon this October after visiting at the same time last year.  Unfortunately Thomson have cancelled our flight from Manchester and expect us to fly from Birmingham instead but are not willing to transport us there (this would involve at least a 200 mile round trip for us with terrible flight times). So sorry Spiros and family, we have had to cancel as probably will a few other people who were to fly from Manchester.  Will have to see what happens next year.

Have been to nicon 5 yrs on the run, as soon as you step on the complex your part of the family.   Tina, Spiros, Nik  are your instant friends and nothing is to big or small for them to make your holiday complete. Made so many friends over the years ( you know who you are ) lol. Would recomend the Nicon apts to anyone and everyone. yamass

Thanks you to all at the Nicon for helping to make our first visit to the island so enjoyable. Lovely spacious, clean, well-equipped studio apartment - even had a shower curtain! Would definitely love to return at this time next year.

Got back from 2 weeks at the Nicon yesterday!! Wow, it was the best holiday we've ever had!!:-) The Nicon has to be the friendliest place we've ever stayed. Made loads of new mates, especially Nic & Bledi, we've never had so many free drinks, and the cocktails and red vodka are yummy!! Spiros, Tina, Phillis, Nic & Bledi are so friendly, and the food is amazing. The weather was fantastic for late October, in the 30's. Will definately be going back next year.
Would recommend the Nicon to anyone ***** :-)

kos town is a beautiful place. great restraunts. go to the water park!!!
called 'shape' god damn it. its great!!
some beaches were amazing. all the water sparkiling blue. the weather was
fab too.
i really miss nicon and getting cocktails off of bledi :'(

Hi! Just got back this morning from the apartments. Had a fantastic two weeks once again! The weather was hot and sunny everyday and now ive got to get used to the English weather again! Nik and Bledi always make the hol worthwhile. The restaurants are fantastic. Even if you cant make it down to the town there are two restaurants nearby called Neo and Europe which are fantastic but even if you dont want to go out for a meal Niks souvlaki is the best around-excluding Mummys cooking! Hopefully ill go back in the future cos im missing it already!Bye xxx

Hey everyone. Got back to cold old England today after spending a fantastic week at the Nicon Apartments.

Will hopefully be back very soon to see Nikos and Bledie, they are the best!!!

The pool is great, the apartmetns are great and Bledie's cheeseburgers are to die for!

Highly recommended.

JUST got back from Kos and the Nicon apartments!! Massive thanks to Spiros, Tina, Nick and to Bledi!!! If you are thinking of going to the Nicon...BOOK NOW!! Great staff, great laughs, superb location, and if you're lucky (and he's practised a bit!) Bledi will show you a magic trick or two that I taught him!!!
Remember to feed the cats (don't let Spiros catch you!!), pick a lemon off the trees outside your window for your drinks, maybe eat one of the ripe peaches from the trees too!!
Check out the harbour for the best deals on the trips,( I recommend the Katerina for the 3 island trip, Jurge is ace!!), spend the day by the pool or just have lots of fun at night with Nick and Bledi (don't try to beat them at table football though, Bledi will whip your ass!!)

Highly recommend the Nicon, if we weren't such lovers of travel to different places each year this is where we would return to.

what a fantastic place to stay. you meet the most excellent friendly and accomodating hosts. we are going back this year and can't wait! all of the people we made friends with having been going for years and regularly meet up year after year. you dont need to do all the expensive tourist bits nic and tina will tell you the best places to go at half the price.. you might get lucky and nic will take you out in his jeep!! can't recommend this place enough for great value and entertainment - if you meet up with the guy from manchester (you know who you are) he will keep you amused for hours on end.. sally knight

We went on an allocation on arrival holiday to Kos last September and ended up at Nicon apartments. We felt so lucky, Nicon apartments are absoloutly gorgeous, the gardens, the pool, the people.
Definately recommend this holiday to all couples or small groups, but no big groups please, you'll spoil the quiet atmosphere for the rest of us!!!
Have booked our next visit to Nicon for September 2004, look out for us lounging at the pool!!!!

I loved my holiday there i have been to the same hotel for the last 3 years. if any one can say anything bad about it they need there head checked. You want to try bar street in jule at about 12pm its havey

Me and my mate have been to the Nicon apartments two years running and are planning on returning next year. We absolutely love it and cant imagine going anywhere else!! Bledi and Nik have become great friends to us and Tina and Spiros are always friendly and we always get hugs from them!! The nights are the best at the pool bar especially the Greek night where everyone gets involved. We always hate having to go home but anyone thinking of going should just do it!!You wont regret it!!!

We got back from nicon apartments last friday and we had a fab time,we met loads of great people, hi to Nic and bleddie, and a big thank you to nic for my sons birthday cake,we hired bikes at 2 euros a day and it was a great way of getting around, i wouldnt go any later than this as everything was shutting down and there was only 4 apartments being let for the last week, plus the bar was going to be shutting at 5pm every night, everyone was friendly and the rep was helpful,could have done with less football on the telly nic and more karoke, ha ha,we all had a fab time and hope to return next year

Me & my boyfriend stayed at the nicon apartments for 2 weeks from 11th september 2003. The apartments where very very clean & well situated near to kos town. All the staff at the Nicon are great, the nights in the bar were very good lots of free drinks!! We will be returning in 2004 i would recomend the Nicon apartments. Also there are lots of great places to eat out in Kos town.

Just returned from Nicon Apartments (14 Sept 2003), all 16 of us, (teenagers/adults), we had a fantastic time. The apartments are run by a brilliant family, nothing is to much trouble. Nico and Bledi look after the bar they are the best, they made our holiday one to remember, plenty of free drinks and lots of yam-masing. Spiros, Tina, Nico and Bledi are really friendly, and the apartments and pool area are extreamly clean. The snack bar area around the pool is fantastic and the prices are good. We will definatly recommend anyone to visit the Nicon Apartments. Psalidi has a variety of Resturants/Tavarnas you can try if you do not want to go into Kos Town. Kos Town is about 25 minutes walk away, or you can take a taxi for 5 Euros. Beware of Bar Street, unless you have plenty of money, they are charging 5 - 6 euros depending on what drink you have. Check the prices before you get tempted to go in as they do vary. Tried various Restuarants/Tavernas most was good food, Mummys Kitchen in Kos Town was excellent, we had a meze which was a variety of greek dishes, and was superb. The steak house in Psalidi was also fantastic food. We can also recommend hiring bicycles and Jeeps, we managed to see the whole of the island and some fantastic beaches. The public transport is also good (but limited), you can get to nearly every resort on the island. Try Paraside Beach, and Markos Beach they are lovely sandy beaches, great for Snorkeling/Water Sport. Check out the prices for excursions down at the harbour, you can go for a fraction of the prices Thomsons are charging. The Beaches in Kos Town/Psalidi are not the best they are pebbly and you need something on your feet to get into the sea. However, there is a small beach in Psalidi near the steak house, which is a little bit sandy (not suitable for sand castles), the owner has laid sandbags in the water so you are not walking on pebbles. If you are staying at the Nicon, the facilities around the pool are fantastic, so the beach to us became 2nd best. We will definately visit again in the future. The Thomsons rep Claire was also very helpful and was on hand regularly if we needed her. If you decide to visit you will have a great time. (The Hawaii five O gang).

I've been going for 9 years to the Nicon, Nic, Spiros, Kostas and Tina are like my second family. Bleedie is a great guy. Great entertainment every night, rooms spotless pool great.

We had a holiday at the Nicon Apartments in July 2003 and had a brilliant time! Day times around the pool were very relaxing and nights were made interesting by Nicos and Bleddie who always made us more than welcome at the bar!We would recommend these apartments to anyone as the whole family are so friendly.

Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. You could easily stay on site but the surrounding are fine.

We stayed at the nicon in may 2002 it was our first trip abroad and we loved every minute of it. Niko and bledi really make your nights up the bar come alive and although they were not doing the greek night while we were there (because it was right at the beginning of the season) we still enjoyed it. To sum up if you go to the nicon you wont be disappointed its great value for money and really friendly, we liked it so much we're going back this year.

Hello!!can anyone tell me how expensive it is to stay in Nicon Apartments?

This was our 2nd time in Kos and also the 2nd time we have stayed at the Nicon Apts!!A family run buisness who are really friendly Tina, Spiros, Nicko and Bledi! Nick and Bledi run the bar till arly hours in the morning and are really friendly an Tina works the pool bar during the day and finally the daddy Spiros runs reception everyday! It was a well enjoyed holiday! All really friendly people and make you feel very welcome! Much missed Wished the plane had gone without us! We'll b back! Thankyou very much Sharon, Sam, Marie and Tom 10/10

The Apartments are really friendly and Spiros and Tina make you feel very welcome. Nikos and Bledi, who work in the bar from 5pm, make an excellent team and are always cheerful!There is a Quiz night every Wednesday night, first prize being a days car hire, and a Greek Night every Tuesday.
