we have been to kefalos four times in the last two years.we are going again in may this year 2004,the weather will be lovely and all the places will be open by the time we get there. going for three weeks this time as we love it so much.if you want to step back in time enjoy the peace and quiet, beautiful scenery this is the place for you.we are going again in october, were in our late 40s but become teenagers again riding motorbikes all over the island .the people are so friendly and were made to feel like family as we have got to know a lot of people.enjoy yourselfs and have a great time. trisha.

The 'Old Town' is pretty at night, there are some good restaurants, look out for 'Never on Sundays', you will have to ask but it's worth it to get away from the crowd and have a more traditional Greek experience. Maybe hire a car and explore the island, there are several villages you can easily reach, visit Therma (natural hot springs). The 3-Island Cruises are good for families, opt for the bigger and more impressive boats.

We arrived on 29th May and stayed for one week. The weather was fantastic, 105 degrees the day we left. Not too busy either.

Lovely time to go is the last 2 weeks in May. Weather can be a little bit variable, but don't let that put you off.

We went 17th-25th May 2003, great weather, got burnt. 1 day was a little overcast but went to Nysiros that was baking hot all day.

We went 10th May to 18th May weather was hot and dry all week, maximum 30 degrees, except 15th, overcast all day with a bit of rain and a humid night.

WENT ON 8TH-15TH MAY..........BOILIN ALL WEEEK ..NOT A CLOUD IN SIGHT......BUT NOT UNBERABLE.....WOULD DEFO GO AGAIN.STAYED IN NARIDA BEACH

WE HAVE BEEN TO KOS LATE MAY AND THE WEATHER WAS GORGEOUS NOT UNBEARABLY HOT.
THEN AGAIN IT COULD HAVE BEEN RAINING WE WOULD NOT CARE DUE TO THE FACT WE WERE ON SUCH A WONDERFUL ISLAND.

I went in May, and i found it very Hot but is not unbearable heat. It was lovely, perfect for getting a good tan!

I like to visit Kos in May, normally the last 2 weeks. It is not too hot or too crowded and the prices are very competitive. When your drive around the Island the spring flowers are in bloom and there is more greenery. Most places are open by the middle of May although you will still a few shutters up.

A GOOD TIME TO VISIT HOWEVER SOME BARS/RESTAURANTS ARE NOT QUITE OPEN FROM 1/5, WEATHER CAN BE A LITTLE BREAZY BUT WHO CARES!!
