Scalla

The setting was a bit busy as the taverna is situated on the main roudabout in the town. However the food was very good. Mike the owner was very nice and could not do enough for you. Worth a try.

We visited Tingaki again in May for two weeks.  We've been here a number of times and generally eat at Scala.  We have tried other restaurants over the years, but always end up at Scala.  The food is lovely and freshly cooked.  Vasillis the owner, is such a gentleman and is very helpful, courteous and always welcoming, as are all the waiters.  I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who stays in Tingaki. 

every meal we've had has been superb, the best steak and jacket potato on the island , all the waiters are really friendly and always a warm welcome to customers old and new .

We visited the Scala three times in our one weeks holiday.  Making it our favourite the service was excellent, the food and price too.  The house dry white wine was served nice and chilled not like in some restaurants we visited. The tables outside over looking the sea are lovely particularly at lunchtime.  We do not normally eat lunch but one day decided to share a tuna salad which also was tasty and well presented.

GOOD FOOD,GOOD SERVICE WELL WORTH A VISIT IF YOU ARE THERE.

We have just spent two weeks in Tingaki and have eaten at scalla on six occasions the staff were excellent and the food was superb.Even the sunday roast was very good.

On our second day we paused for lunch and I was asked by the waiter "Do you like fish",I said yes and was taken to the kitchens & shown some freshly landed Red Snapper.I ordered a nice looking fish & when it arrived it was superb,a huge platter for 2.After that we returned most evenings.The waiters were so much fun it was a joy to eat there......Excelent

We went to this restaurant on many occasions my partner is a vegetarian, and the scala does a whole lot of food which she enjoyed. The food for normal eaters was superb, I can recommend the Rabbit. An enjoyable evening good service and excellent Metaxa to end the meal

if you can try the kleftiko it has to be the best in tingaki
nice staff, nice surroundings excellent food

Nice food, good surroundings. Would recomend going. During the day it is nice to sit on the beachfront part with a cold Beer.
