Stone Roses

We love the stone roses bar and have just come back from another great week in Kos.  Most of it spent propping up the bar in the Stone roses.

great bar, loved the music. but the staff there are just dicks, bar 1 or 2 , especially that ian brown wanna b who just cant keep still,  n just loves running around wat a p***k

This is the 4th year in a row Flange and I have been back and it was as rockin' as ever!

This bar was the best place to go in the whole of Kardamena. The music was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Danno really was the star of the place, absolute nutter!

Hi, i was just wondering if i could get any information about getting a job in Kardamena for the summer 2005. I went out there last year and had an amazing time. I spent many nights at the rockin Stone Roses bar, the atmosphere was great and people were cool. There are two of us that would like to go out to Kos next year. If there are any vacancies at Stone Roses of any other bar then some information would be greatly appreciated. cheers. from Vicki. xx

Hey well as a part-time worker(part-time sunbather) i had many good nights at the Stone Rose bar it was ace and where i met one of my true and closest friends-Ruth your a true star and we had the most amazing summer! Danno you little stud check out your rep and there was i under the impression Ross(my peter-pan) was the slapper! hope your all well and to see you in 2005! Ally.xxx

This bar made our holiday, the great music especially the staff - Ilias, Ruth, Hannah and of course Danno. I too have his number but am not letting it go! Had great time with him so big thanx to him for the lovely meal in Kos Town, the boat trips, the sexy nights and for taking me to the lovely wedding. I'll never forget xx

I was in Kardamena mid-September and loved the Stone Roses Bar. Went there everynight. Great music, great atmosphere, great cocktails, but by far the best thing about it was Danno and I think Jen (below) can vouch for that! You lucky girl! Sarah - Jen has his number, it seems, but I'm not so sure she would be willing to give it away! ;-)

This bar is most def the best bar a long shot... Danno you are the man, although I definately got a lot more than just your phone number.
Will not forget that night...dont stop track number 6...dont stop being amazing... love your Final Straw x

Loved this bar, staff were great, music was brilliant, if you like stone roses, Oasis, The Jam, James etc... you will love this bar. Great cocktail menu & relatively cheap ..... highly recommended

sat outside for 1 song every nite, well good music shame i never actaully bought a drink there, still made part of my summer-cheers

Got back from hols last week. I didnt want to leave! Loved the stone roses bar, the music, the atmosphere, the regulars and of course all the staff (especially danno). So big hello to you all and thanks to danno for acting as hop alongs taxi service. Just want to say you made our holiday! Definatly want to come back to see you all next year.

Got back last week, went in Stone Roses a few times nice chilled out bar with good music, ideal place to start the night and get warmed up for the early hours. great staff really work hard.

For the third year in a row have just spent the best part of 2 weeks proping up the bar in the Stone Roses bar - absolutely the best bar there. MASSIVE HELLO to Ruth, you made our holiday really hope u keep your promise and keep in touch.

Also big hello to Ilias - we still don't know what you kept writing on those Mad club tickets but what ever it said the staff there had a laugh!!

Have to mention Danno to absolutely mad as a hatter - very funny guy.

Hope to see you all in May next year - was gonna be the last year but can't imagine a life of never going to the Stone Roses bar.

best bar in kos sayz the oasis boyz stoke-on-tour rock n roll all the way and then go to mad club just the same but it opens at 12 and shuts at 4 & 6 and ull see the stone roses gang in there.

We loved the Stone Roses bar best bar and best music in Kardamena. Definately go. Danno and his props including the Mick Jagger mask are comical.

Visited kos in june 2004. Definitely fell for Danno and his attitude-gorgeous,sexy!!! Great entertainment, best music on the island, along with Mad. Sitting in stone roses every evening made our holiday and is the reason we have already booked to come back in sept!

Stone Roses was fantastic, I fell in love - as i'm sure many other girls did - with danno coz he was gorgeous if slightly manic and pure hottness in the form of a man (with "gaz 'supergrass' sideys) the music was fab n the bar staff cool - definately go!

This Bar is by far the best in Kardamena. The music is such a breath of fresh air from all the dance rubbish in the other bars and you dont get dragged in by the staff like the other places, cos you wanna go in of your own accord. We sat outside Stone Roses most nights in the square just chilling listening to tunes such as:- Dont look back in anger, park life, everybodys changing and of course, Waterfall and Fools Gold. Only down side is it all goes off at 12pm

BEST NIGHT EVER, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BUMP INTO 30 LEEDS IN THE SQUARE (SHEFFIELD DOES THE JOB)!!

Didn't go in - didn't have to because the music was so loud. It's brilliant to sit in the square and listen to the great tracks while the wife did her shopping. It annoyed me when the DJ played the extended version of "Won't get fooled again" and went into another track just before the finale.

Best Bar in Kardemina. I expected the resort to be full of dance crap like any other seaside resort .... but to my amazement it wasn't. The music was absolutely fantastic, by the end of the night I had lost my voice every night after singing at the top of my voice with my friend Ffion. And the guy who works there with his Mick Jagger mask was brill ... never got to know his name though. Also "Mad" club is also brilliant, the same kind of music. I shall definately have to visit again! I just wish there were places like this more at home in the UK!

A really cool bar that is different to all the others. Had to fight to get in most nights as its so popular. The staff are really lively and give the place a great atmosphere. probably the best bar in Kardamena!!

best bar in kos. the music is unique. no other bar plays it. its not often you hear oasis, doves, stone roses, rolling stones and elvis, to name a few, in one bar. i've been twice, in 97 & 2002 and it had'nt changed. i going again in 3 weeks cant wait. the staff are also cool. they don't try and drag you in off the street like other bars. their philosophy is come in cos you wanna. the blokes maybe better than average but i'm not g*y or owt so i can't say.

Now after 12 there's also a new indy club,called "Mad" club.

this is by far the best bar in the resort. we spent nearly all our time drinking niomi's here and dancing with kostas. the drinks are pretty expensive but the music and atmosphere is great. kardemena is worth visiting just for the stone roses! the only down side is when the music turns off at 12 and you find yourself having to listen to some dance w**k in a s**tty club.

Best bar in the resort - great music, fab drinks (ask for a swimming pool - guaranteed to get you totally trashed) and gorgeous barman, particularly Yiannis! We've already booked up to go back next year at the end of July, so only 9 months to go...!

The stone roses bar is like no other -we were there every night the music was cool the staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was just amazing -a definate must to start (or end as we did until 4am most mornings) the night!!!!!! B52's are a must
