We have just got back from Tingaki (stayed at the Mythos Apartments) this restaurant is just a couple of doors up from the Mythos.  Although we tried several other places  kept going back to it, the lamb kleftiko was fantastic! Could never remember the name but we always called it the 'Blue chair and check tablecloth place'.  Very friendly, very traditional food.  You won't be rushed, I don't think they would mind how long you stayed to be honest.  I don't think we ever felt rushed in any of the restaurants in Tingaki.

Would anybody please be able to tell me what are the meals are like in Tingaki, are they rushed? I have been to a few greek resorts and i find that some of them we felt a bit rush with our meal as they try to get as many people in and out as possible. We like to make a night out of our meal and take our time, but in Zante although the food was fantastic it was a bit rushed as soon as we ordered our food the starter was out within 2mins and when that was taken away our main came out right away not giving us enought time to relax, but when we went to Crete it took a good three hours for us to have a starter main and sometime a sweet, and we took our time and relaxed over some wine. So could anyone tell me what i can expect in Tingaki. Im pregnant this year so im not drinking so our evening meal is quite an imprortant part of our evening.

Our waiter - Stephen - a supporter of Greek football and sometimes Greek dancer is a character. This was probably our favourite in the resort. The meatballs and mama's mouska were in a word brilliant.

We have been to Tingaki for the 9th year now, having just returned, before Nisiotiko Spiros was working in the Grand Salle, crazy then and still crazy.Himself and his family are the most nicest people you could ever meet, they would do anything for you.We eat here every night while in Tingaki, once you try this place, you will find that this will be the only place that you eat in,like us and many other's.He and his family love kid's so they will be well catered for, just wait for the greek dancing,he is sooooo mad, picking up tables and chairs with his teeth, not sure how many he has left now though, teeth that is,standing on the chairs, and dancing, you will no doubt find yourselfs sitting there for a while just enjoying yourselfs so much, you must take a camera with you.One last thing though,Spiros is moving to England(yipeeee}this year so make sure you go before the end of the season or you will never know.Enjoy your holiday, and don't forget to try this great place.Yamos

We have been to Tingaki 3 times now and have spent many many a great evening at Nisiotiko's. The food is very very good quality wise and price. The service is outstanding. Spiros and Nikos make a great double act, breaking out into Greek dance at the drop of a hat. We are due to go again in 2 weeks and will call to see them upon arrival. Its a great place to try and once tried your hooked.
