have just returned  from kardamena.  did not want to come home. yet again the food was superb.the caesar salad with chicken was my husbands favourite starter. the onion rings were mine. every meal we had was perfectly cooked and very plentiful. the mixed grill was as good as before as well as the kleftika and the steak in ariadne sauce. . the full english breakfast was enough to see you through to the evening. restaurant was packed every night and on a couple of occassions people were waiting outside for tables to become free. we are back to kardamena on the 21st of june for 1 week and the 30th of august for 2 weeks and we know where we will be heading for our meals.all staff as wonderful as before and we look forward to seeing them again next year..    jan and paul watts

 went to kos in june and ate at the ariadne every lunchtime and  nightime. a very friendly restaurant. the 2 english waitresses were very polite and efficient. the greek waiters were very knowledgeable on all dishes. the fillet ariadne special was one of the best meals we have ever had in greece. the chefs salad and caesar salads were very fresh and plentiful. a complimentary greek dip at the beginning of your meal and a complimentary creme de menthe and after eight mint at the end.home made lasagne is to die for. mixed grill- so much meat we took a lot away and fed to the cats.(wonderful meats but just too much). kleftiko- lamb was the most tasty and tender meat we have ever had. english breakfasts- the best on the island. roll on saturday (16-09-06). here we come again.

  Whoever gave this restaurant full marks got it spot on. The food is excellent, the service restrained (there when you want it but not when you don't) and the prices very reasonable. The breakfasts at 4 euros were superb.

We have been going to kardamena the past 4 years and the food here is always supberb.

When you go past a restaurant every night and it's packed you think it has to be good right..... well it was!! Simple!

Best restaurant in Kardamena by a mile, only one we eat in. Great service & prices, the Kalimari in mustard sauce just melts in your mouth as does the Lamb Kleftico, massive portions. Leah, Bambi & all the staff, keep up the great work, see you next year, Andy & Lynne.

Agree with all comments about this restaurant. One of the best in Kardamena. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the service is very good. The food was gorgeous and I found I couldn't finish mine as there was so much.

Tried this restaurant again after going in 2003 and the food is still as good as ever the chicken in ariadne sauce is delicious.

Having been to Kos three years on the spin, this is the one restaurant we always seek out. It is lovely to sit upstairs on the rooftop. The food is fab, the staff are friendly and the prices are very good. Highly recommened.

This is a fantastic Taverna, all the staff very friendly and didn't mind if you asked for no tentacles in the kalamari!.The stifado was the best I've ever tasted and I've been coming to Greece for the last 18 years. Don't be tempted to try Moonshines over the road, the service was terrible, we waited 50 mins for our starter and it wasn't like it was that busy either.

By far the absolute best restaurant if not in Kardamena, then the world!!! This place often comes into conversation & I just cant help tellin everyone about the Best meal Ive ever had, the Ariadne's Peppered Steak!!! - melts in your mouth!!!
Service second to none by the guys, although one of them was on National Service in the greek army last time we went but thoroughly enjoyed it all the same!!!

P.S. (if you are reading this guys, drank the enormous bottle of house wine you gave us as soon as we landed back home in England!!! - Cheers Again!! See you next year!!!

This is definitely a 10 out of 10 Restaurant. Great food,Great Service And Excellent Value For Money! Trust me we are very healthy eaters but there were times when even we could`nt finish everything! We ate there almost every night and not a night went by when it was`nt full with people queing up to get in.These guys have no need to go out in the street and tout for business and are`nt hovering over your shoulder whilst you are eating.Without doubt the best restaurant in Kardamena.Thanks for all the free wine guys!

This is one of best restaurants in kardamena, we ate here a lot, the Lamp chops are wonderful, so is the Lasange, it is very clean, mo hassle from PR's the staff are very pleasant, nothing was never too much trouble, and the Grandaughter says these are the best chicken nuggets. Very reasonable prices, for an excellent meal.

This was one of the best places to eat we found, the food was really nice, the portions massive, the service really friendly. It is one of the only places to eat that actually has no annoying PR giving you grief to come and it is not suprising at is was packed every night we went. The best thing about this restaurant is that it is really reasonable and the cheapest restaurant we ate in.

We love this restaurant they are all very friendly and really funny! The food is always really good and its always busy which is a good sign - not sure why its rated a 4, we didnt go anywhere else to eat!

Hi to Eddie the tall goodlooking waiter who brought me a drink one day on my way back from the beach and was really funny (and rude) - still not saying if i got it on with u know who!!!!!!

My boy friend and I went to Kos at the end of June 04 and found that there was a toss up between three restaurants as to which was the best one. Ariadne always came out on top, never had any problems with the service or food and it was reasonably priced. Even though Ariadne's is always busy and they never have to tout custom they always give you the best service they can.

Great service, great food, its always busy which says a lot. We ventured out to a different restaurant and was very disappointed we didnt go anywhere else after that! The waiters are all very funny and make you feel very welcome. Very good value for money - we will go back there on our return to Kos in July as one of the waiters has promised to teach me Greek Dancing

Great restaurant - the food was lovely (we ate all Greek) and 3 of
us had 3 courses with lots of wine and it barely came to 50
euros.
