We ate in Rainbow a couple of times during our recent visit to Kos and I was very impressed. Portions were large and the staff (especially the owner) were friendly; he was brilliant with the children too and they got a free icecream at the end of the meal, even though they'd had dessert too! The salads were lovely and fresh and the houmus was excellent.
The pasta arabiata was very good: really spicy! Hubby was impressed with his mixed grill. V nice garlic bread too.
The food was pretty good (especially pasta verde and a veggie pasta bake) but it was always very quiet and service was quite slow.
Pleasant location and decent service. Husband enjoyed the sea bass here. Veggie options were a bit limited.
This was always very busy but am not entirely sure why. Although the bhajis, poppadoms etc were good, the curries themselves were tasteless, seeming to consist of frozen vege and pataks-type sauces. V disappointing. The apple pie was fab though.
Lovely hostess, with the biggest smile on the island! The bread was the best we tasted anywhere and the homemade chessecake was excellent. The mixed vegetarian plate was excellent value and this was one of the few places that offered anything other than pasta or pizza for veggies. Husband thought the rabbit stifado was the best meal all holiday.
Karen and Annette are really friendly and this bar had a lovely atmosphere. The special offer cocktails were great, although otherwise their cocktail menu was a bit pricey compared to other places. The cat is a big softy!
The best Margarita ever! On the whole though, this place was a bit too loud for our liking. Love the swinging seats!
