our rep was stevie, he was not very helpful at all. when we arrived our fridge didnt work and he never fixed it until the 3rd day in (v.bad news with the heat in august!) the flight was terrible, no leg room, no tv, nothing! def take plenty of magazines to keep you entertained coz the reps and flight wont!!!! one good point, kos airport dont weigh your case on the way back!!

First time with Kosmar - its really the same as going with any operator. If u are unfortuante to have a delay then it will make the whole travelling experience a nightmare - the reps were friendly and approchable. Ours was a guy called Norie.

Good tour operator, reasonable prices (hate monarch airlines though)
Also the transfer time is brilliant only about 10 mins

The accommodation was nice and our rep Lara was really nice and very friendly, she would always stop to chat to you even if she was about to leave. The other rep we met called Leah was also very nice, although she wasn't our rep if we met her she'd always ask how things were going. Would definitely go with Kosmar again.

Upon arriving at Kos airport, we had to wait an hour for our coach, for whatever reason, as I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to pursue it, as an explanation wasn't given. I'd been traveling since 7pm, so was just ready to get to bed, which I eventually did at 7am! As someone else has pointed out, 7 nights, means 6 nights as we arrived Sunday morning 7am and had to be out by the following Saturday at 5pm! A bit of a scam I think, as we had to pay another 15 Euros just to stay in the apartment till 8pm on the Saturday night! Our rep didn't act on our complaint about the broken seat and we just couldn't pretend to be fake and go on the days out when we weren't even being represented in a professional manner. I think Kosmar are sloppy, as Thomas Cook operative that we booked through kept saying that Kosmar no longer provided them with the details that they used to, no pictures of the accom and little info about the accom!? Never again for me, a second rate organisation.

the rep lara was fit, the scottish guy was a bit g*y and so were the flight times. no hotel after 12pm on the saturday.. i paid for a weeks holiday, not a 6 day break.

I have been on holiday with Kosmar a couple of times. the value for money is excellent with the conparison to other companys. However the overall service is for want of a better word s**t. We went on holiday in May, 9 days before we went they changed the flights so that we only had 13 nights acc, and were left stranded for 18.5 hours before flying home, "YES YOU DID READ THAT RIGHT, 18.5 HOURS BEFORE FLYING HOME" i did have words with them about this and was told that we could keep the room on for an extra 5 hours at no extra charge, we were told that it was all arranged with the hotel, suprise suprise when we got their no one knew what we were talking about. I wrote a letter of complaint when we got home about this so called arrangement to be told. TOUGH

Had a brilliant time - only problem was the flight times - stupid o'clock in the morning. Our rep Emma was lovely and worked really hard to help us out. Definately going back and definately with Kosmar, brilliant if you are on a budget.

Flight from/to Bristol was with Islandsflug (icelandic), you're better off walking !
Seat pitch is very tight even for 'normal' size people, if you're on the larger size tall you won't get the tray down fully without risk of stomach injury in turbulence.
If you're tall your legs will be cramped against the seat in front.
I will make it a condition of any future booking with Kosmar that the carrier is not Islandsflug.
1 steward on our return flight was a comedian, he matched everything else - it was a joke.
The meal was awful and the blanket wet with suntan cream, loading was delayed while the stewardess finished reading a magazine.
Kosmar should dump Islandsflug before too many prospective customers dump them.
Do they ever wonder why people are turning away from package holidays ? we're people not packages

Rubbish flight times, both directions, and no in-flight movie or even TV repeats to occupy us during the long, boring journey! My partner ordered a vegan meal and was assured it would be provided, but was given an inedible vegetarian meal instead both times. Never saw the rep, we slept in for our welcome meeting due to arriving at an ungodly hour of the morning! The plane (BMI) was roomy and comfortable though, lots of leg room for a change. Transfer in was shambolic, no bus available for us. Transfer back was fine.

May 2004: Our first ever late deal was with Kosmar. Apart from the flight, as they charter other airlines, we had no complaints about them. If you're unlucky enough to get the 737 "IslandFlug" Airlines flight from EMA you'll find it a cramped uncomfortable flight. The meals on the this flight though were better than expected. The Rep' in Tingaki(Sheila) was great, not pushy and always available should you need help. The Airport transfers were the usual dissorganised mess I've found with most tour operators.

Just got back. First time with Kosmar, but not the last. Norrie, our rep was particularly good, with the noise problem and when we had problem over a day trip to Turkey, he sorted out the problem and we got our money back in time to book another. Did not enjoy the flight out, as there 12 men old enough to know better in front of us, and were swearing, not caring about young children also behine them, one particular attendant was playing up to them, and one of the party got very drunk, we will avoid flights with Monarch in the future. They did not show a film, only TV repeats, (as if we didn't get enough). Slept most of the journey home.

can anyone give us information about the facilities in the sunset apts, we are going with 2 kids aged 11 & 12 in july 2004 what do they have to occupy them at the appartments apart from the pool?

just read the comment on the male rep in kos town and i have to agree. he tried it on with my friend for most of the holiday but did't get anywhere. he was a good laugh and was always polite when we saw him out and about at night. however, he didn't seem very interested in the job and was more interested in his sex life then his work.

i have just booked to stay in the Cleopatra Superior Hotel at the end of May. It does not have a proper photo of it in the Kosmar Brochure and was just wondering if it has been fully built yet. Can any help??

cannot fault kosmar as a company - all the reps were great and extremly helpful, especially on greek night and the cruise. our rep however let the side down - he seemed more interested in swimming in the pool, having a fag and sleeping with as many female guests as possible. not impressed,i think his name was gareth. his behaviour hasn't put us off though, we are returing to kos town this summer with kosmar and cannot wait!

havnt actually been to kos but have been all over greece with kosmar.have never had a bad holiday.accomodation has been good and always had reliable knowledgable reps.u cant blame kosmar for flite times,they only buy flites off other airlines.as for grading the appartments,anybody who is even slightly familiar with greek tourism will know that it isnt regulated by anyone and they can give themselves whatever grade they want.this is all a little insignificant when u consider kosmars prices compared to most other tour operators.i am already booked to go with them twice next year.

WE'VE BEEN WITH KOSMAR A FEW TIMES AND FOUND THEM TO OK APART FROM THE FLIGHT TIMES BUT WE STAYED AT CAPTAIN COOK STUDIOS WHICH HAD AN 'A' CLASSIFICATION. WE DON'T KNOW WHY BECAUSE THE DIMITRI & ANNA STUDIOS WERE FAR SUPERIOR BUT THEY ONLY HAVE A 'B' CLASSIFICATION. ONE OF THE BAR OWNERS TOLD US THAT CAPTAIN COOKS WERE 'A' CLASS 17 YEARS AGO AND KOSMAR HAVE NOT UPDATED THEIR RECORDS. THEY WERE OK BUT VERY BASIC.

I just got back today. Kosmar on the whole were OK. They did indeed bail me and my 11 mates out three times when the owner of VARKAS STUDIOS wanted to evict us (that's hospitality for you). I guess we did make a lot of noise. At 6am. However, when the aforementioned owner decided to charge my friend 80 euros to replace a mattress he was sick all over, then proceed to simply turn the mattress over without replacing it, our rep did nothing but humiliate my friend in the street. I think she was called Lisa. Her memos were pretty funny as well. We had one stuck to our door every morning when she came, telling us we'd done something wrong. One thing I'd watch out for though is the horrible flight and collection times. There's only so much you can do when you have to check out at 5pm and your flight isn't until 4am.

On the whole Kosmar excellent are tour operators, they looked after us from the moment we landed in KOS to the moment we departed, our rep Pam made sure we had a good time while we stayed, 10/10.

When we arrived in kos we were put on a coach and was getting taken to Agrellis hotel by Kate which i must say is a fantastic rep not only that she went out of her way to make are holiday one of are best yet! she was always smiling and happy to help. (Kate was the good looking one even in that horrible uniform.)and would go back if she was there again!!!!!!
