Now finished. the premises are occupied by Mike's Taverna which has moved from 400 yards down the road (was after the Atlantis hotel going from Kos Town)

I understand this place closed down in July 2005. It was empty of chairs and tables in September

We visited Vergina in June after discovering it the year before when we were on kos. The girls Katerina & Anastasia are very friendly and we are keeping in touch with them. They sent us a lovely card after we returned home. The food and the service are great and George (the father/chef) is also very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Lambi area, you won't find better food or service to beat it and all at a very good price.

This is an excellent real Greek restaurant and we had a couple of splendid meals here. The tuna salad for starters is immense and superb. My wife had sole which she said was some of the best fish she had ever had. The Vergina sweets which are a bit like strudel were excellent if a bit large after a good meal. The prices are reasonable and service is good but as everything is cooked fresh don't expect fast food. From what I saw of it kids seem to be well looked after with their meals served quickly and games on hand to keep them occupied while their Mums and Dads took their time. Give it a try. you won't be disappointed.
