Sunshine Apartments - (Accommodation in Kefalos)

I know Kefalos quite well but cannot place these apartments. We are staying there in August and I would like to be able to place them in my own mind before we go. Can anyone help with the location of these apartments using the roundabout on the seafront as a reference? Also, the comment on this property states it is air conditioned, is this correct?

Acropol - (Bars in Kefalos)

We have been visiting Kefalos since 1998 so we are quite an authority on the resort. What can I say about the Acropol that will do justice to the wonderful place that it is. Anyone reading this who has never visited George and his family before MUST, MUST, MUST pay a visit. I cannot find anything bad to say about the place. The service, food and drinks provided by George and his wonderful family are of really high quality. You MUST try Mrs. Georges home made cake. You will not have tasted anything like it before, and it is to die for! The place is well furnished and very clean. It is a haven in the heat of the day for a place to chill out and have a refreshing drink, it is also a great place to spend the evening. No matter what time of day you visit, you will always receive a really warm welcome and made to feel right at home, almost part of the family. If you do not visit the place you will lose out. Oh yes, I do have a complaint. Maria, Georges daughter, has grasped the British sense of humour far too well! Do not try and get one over on her as you WILL lose. She is a demon but lovely with it. Maria if you read this I hope that you and your "Bump" are well and coping with the heat!

Demetris Studios - (Accommodation in Kefalos)

Stayed here for the first time this year. After a shaky start things got better and we had a great time. We booked for 3 adults staying in a studio appt. On our arrival I found that we were in appt 1 on the ground floor in the old block. There were two beds and a put you up bed which was half under a built in wardrobe! I felt like Harry Potter going to bed that first night! We complained to the rep and a couple of days later we were moved into a ground floor appt in the new block which was much much better.

The appts themslves were very good. Well maintained and very clean. The cleaner came in every day and we seemed to have clean towels and sheets every other day. I would definately say there again.

Opa Bar - (Bars in Kefalos)

I can only agree with the comments made by others, an exellent bar which is easily missed and very under rated. Was in Kefalos in July when they had a heat wave. The Opa was a great place to avoid the heat and chill out. Great views, freindly staff, comfy seats and good food and drinks.

Tasty Palace - (Restaurants in Mastihari)

How can this place be rated at only 6 out of ten????? That is completely wrong. We travel all the way from Kefalos to eat there. Excellent location, value for money, service and food. Ignore the name, just go and try it for yourself. Chris (female), the owner is so welcoming and attentive as is her number 2 Veni. When my wife and daughter asked for a special ice ceam of Baileys and malteezers Chris had run out. However she was not to be defeated and made her own with a shot of Baileys and a bag of Malteezers. I am assured it was delicious!! Can't wait for 2008.
