Tour Operators on Kos

Our Holiday itself was excellent, accomodation ok, complex excellent, hospitality brill, food excellent, location excellent, Aspro rep- DIABOLICAL.
Never travelled with Aspro before and not sure i will again. Pick up and transfer from kos airport to fili apts Tingaki delayed due to passangers lost luggage. Discovered delay was mainly due to the lack of knowledge from rep in retriving and completing relevent paperwork. Sorted finally by another rep. Transfer rep talked a load of rubbish correcting herself on many occassion, turning of mike whilst consulting her notes and asking us to forget what shed just said, very confusing and boaring. When we got to our apartment @ 5am in the dark we were taken to wrong apartment and were then just given directions on where to go. Nobody came to see if we'd reached it. The welcome meeting lasted 15mins if that. The worst I have ever been to. Consequently I booked 3 trips for 4 adults from a nearby travel agent who gave me loads of information with regards to our resort and places to go and things to do. Information that we should have recieved from your Rep. More lack of knowledge from rep when some apartments had been broken into. The victims were just given a number to call as she didnt know the procedure-sound familiar. These people had an ardius time of trying to sort things out for themselves, thankfuly I wasnt one of them. Final straw our flight delayed 5hrs which is nobodies fault and one we except but the attitude of the rep and the way in which she dealt with it was terrible. It was word of mouth I learnt about the delay, and 4hrs later a note went up on our notice board We were having to chase our rep to find out what was happening. There were a few families worried as we were out of our appartment at 12noon but not flying until 10am next day due to the delay. She was so incompetent that in the end a My Travel rep dealt with it. In the two weeks I was there I saw our rep once and that was on the last day when we had to stand vigil and track her. We stayed at the pool area 12 out of the 14 days we were there. I have always travelled with Thompsons, whose reps would always make an effort to walk around the pool and apartments to chat and see if everyone is having a good time. You might aswel of not had one at the Fili. There were lots of unhappy people. Good job we made our holiday our own because if we'd have left it to Aspro-God Knows. I was really disapointed in the service we recieved. I realise how important it is for the tour operators to get it right and without comments like my own these problems would go unnoticed and unimproved. Unfortunataly improvement is desparately needed with Aspro. I choose Aspro over Thomsons this year thinking I was going to get value for money. Infact this was my most expensive holiday, but Aspro didn't deliver. I unfortunately do not think I would book with yourselves again. Sorry!
