Just Returned from Mirianna Studios, The rooms are clean and basic, beds were comfortable but had to ask for second pillow. air con is in the apt, but at a cost of £50 per week. They only supply the 1st toilet roll, the reason they give is that you are self catering, but i felt a toaster would have been helpful, oh, no hairdrier, they like to hire them, if you want a fan, they also hire them too £15 a week. The pool is nice it is cleaned every morning along with the pool area opens at 9am closes at 7pm. The pool bar is nice its a little tucked away, and you pay a premium for using this, but not too bad. the bar area is at the front of the apartments, but neer seemed to have any atmosphere, we was in rooms 302 and 303, which had balconys overlooking the road and bar, the road noise can be load from speeding cars and loud scooters all night.Overall this is not a bad location to stay with a steady 800yds walking distance to the beach, and 100yds to supermarket and bus stop.
Once you eat here, you wont want to try anywhere else, we ate here on our firstnight in tingaki, and eight other times in our 14 day stay on Kos. It is simple, the food is great, no matter what you choose. You must try the pizza, and the klefiko and stifado, you see? Then there is Donnas home made apple pie and cherry cheese cake mmm!, but most of all it is the hospitality you get in the restuarant, that was what made it for us.(and the cocktails)
the greek night in zia is great, to sum up, live music and singers, good dancing, good food ,it just keeps coming and of coa**e wine which you help yourselves. we booked through theorakis travel in tingaki, good value at 27 euro, because you get nick the coach driver, he is special. go talk to louise in the travel shop, whether it is to book a trip or just a chat, or even if it is some other problem, she will try to help.
