hi thought i'd never be the sort of person who would go back to a place again but in one week am going back to kardamena for second time this year and fifth year on trot!!! we absolutely adore the mix of being able to have peace and quiet if we wish or clubbing if we want that. twenty year old daughter and her friends love it and it's very safe place so they've been able to go out at night on their own since fifteen - good few hangovers though!! we always hire a motorbike so that we can go round the island and into the mountains - good cure for the hangovers! we've stayed in various appts and none are far from square and clubs. one was right next to a club but didn't hear a thing at night cos everywhere is soundproofed after midnight. would not want to stay in kos town at all personally but good to visit. enjoy your hols jacqui, coventry

been to philippos twice and would go every year but tend to go for last minute deals cos of cost so have to take what we get, but philippos are best ever been to

we've been to kardamena 7 times and only found posidonia this year thro' net. we went loads of times 'cos food and family so nice. we always had 4 starters to share between two, then there was no problem with us having a very long break then ordering a desert for dave and yet another starter for me cos i love them. and the wine was so nice. can't wait to go back next year.

definitely not worth a visit. one of messiest beaches on island. much cleaner beaches around

better rate in kos town if changing huge amount of money. if small amount kardamena is good and all places very good
