It was a nice beach. Shame we couldnt find the bubbles people raved about in the sea. If your arriving by boat from else where prepared to get wet when coming off cos the jetty dips into the water before it gets to the beach, it was funny watching fully dressed people getting soaked.... Best if you hire a car and drive down.
Plenty of water sports and sun loungers, and the sea was lovely and clear.
Yup this was a great place to have a drink and un wind!
Definate must. Although you will have to be prepared get up early to travel to Kos town, which is where the boats leave from. Oh and going through passport control on both ends can be a pain, but its worth it, and to tell you the truth I much prefered the Turkish food once there. A down fall is that you dont get long there, but i think after a day of haggeling with the shop owners you will be desperate to get back to your studio and flop out!
It was very busy, full of every culture possible , dutch, swedish, swiss, german, italian, etc etc etc etc. There was one small beach that was a yucky colour and so packed full of sun beds you could hardly move. Although from what i saw, there was alot of water sports there, and bars, so one for the youngsters i think. I couldnt wait to get back to Kefelos, much quieter with much nicer beaches and tavernas. I guess some people might like this place though.
