Pantheon - (Restaurants in Kos Town)

Stuart /

The restaurant was busy every night and looks really nice. It's a shame the food didn't match. We had much nicer food from other places. I had Prawn Cocktail for Starters, pretty tasteless for over 5 Euro's, had the Pantheon Mixed grill for main course, Gutted!!

Caravan Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kos Town)

After looking on this web site - We thought the Caravan was must! Took us over 1/2 hour to find it. When we got there, the restaurant was full, with only one spare table. We were greated by a friendly man who seated us, yep!! - Tony Ainsworth. We told him about the site and he smiled and said "The comments were mainly all mine!!" and flashed us his business card. There were three other tables who had read the comments and decided to visit the Caravan that night. A bit disappointed, had we been tricked??, we decided to stay and eat. The food was nice, but I must agree Hassan is the perfect host, extremely friendly and gave us many free drinks of Ouzo!! - Yamas!! a cracking guy. I would visit this place for Hassan infectious friendliness and generousity. Tony must really like Hassan, he even helped out waitering at times. Very cheap too!!

Stavroulla Apartments - (Accommodation in Kos Town)

Stuart /

Hmm! - The location was next to a busy road, very noisy traffic especially them mo-peds! Not as the brochure described it in the centre of Kos Town! A good 10/15 min walk to centre. Pool was O.K.
Only had one set of towels for the week, but was clean. Apartments were very basic. Pillow was like a rock. Only had a few warm showers, had to have many cold showers for some reason. No cooking utensils, or coat hangers. Still had good hol though!!!

Very Nice meal, Good choice, friendly waitress. We had a laugh and joke with the PR woman. Nice romantic views and setting.

Therme (hot springs) - (Places to Visit on Kos)

Stuart /

Worth a visit!! - Bus service around the Island is cheap and efficient. We stayed in Kos Town and had a bus to the Hot Springs every hour. The journey took about 15 mins. The springs were different and very warm. Try it yourself
