We returned from Kos after staying at Ampavris this morning and we had a wonderful holiday. The apartments are excellent, clean and tidy, the pool and bar area are superb, and the family are the friendliest hosts you could wish to meet. One night whilst walking into town for a meal, George (The owner) stopped in his 4x4 and offered us a lift into town. He even asked where we wanted to be dropped off. How many hosts would do this? We would highly recommend these apartments. This was our second year here and we will be back again!

Just arrived back from Ambavris today after our third visit in 3 years. What can we say! Everything was as good as before, and we had a fantastic time again! With regard to a previous post, there is no air conditioning, although fans are available.

We would also recommend checking posts by Tony Ainsworth with regard to Restaurants and Boat Trips. We followed his recommendations and had an even better week than last year!

Just got back from Kos today. Found Caravan this year after failing to find it last year!

We went with the Katerina last tuesday. As has been said previously, forget the rest and sail on the Katerina with George and his family. My wife does not normally do "boats" but she plucked up the courage to go, even though it was a choppy day. She also doesnt normally do putting her face underwater but i managed to coax her into trying snorkelling at Platti. we had to buy a mask and snorkel later in the week as she enjoyed it so much!
