Food OK - nothing special for the price - but well worth a visit on the night's that they advertise Greek Dancing!!!!

We went in because we were staying in an apartment locally & got fed up with the staff harassing us to go in - tried it - worst decision we made all holiday. Small portions - so you have to order loads if you are a big eater. If you like good food at a reasonable price - try El Greco on the front. Get to the harbour and turn left - keep walking and you'll find the best pepper steak for 7 euros.....

Food great - but down side is that if you are sitting at a table for 2 that could actually sit 4 - then watch out - coz you've got company!Nice if you are looking for friends - but personally I like to pick them.........

Great food - watch out for the special boards - best steaks with a variety of sauces - ie pepper, mushroom. Good local Greek dishes. All on a sea-front location. Absolutely wonderful house wine - only tried the white, but other diners trying the red said that was very nice.
English breakfast very good too. Downside - don't expect to eat within 30 mins of making your order - but the wait is definitely worthwhile - prices very good.

Alright - we took advice and ate here - personally I found it over-rated - try El Greco - better food - better value.

Great day time bar overlooking sea - buy a beer (Mythos) and a Greek Salad and wait for the sun to go down....... friendly but not fussy staff - as everywhere - the toilets are very clean..... (if not - it is due to tourists.

Food OK - depends how hungry you are. If you are hungry then order all courses available.........

Cocktails were FAB compared to other nearby spots.........

We stayed for 3 weeks in May/June 02 - accomodation is basic - but functional.If you really want to cook - suggest u take pans & knives.
We had no complaints - the cleaner was a bit scary but other than that the whole booking /holiday was great

After being hassled by waiters we went in during our holiday in June 2002! Big mistake! Food took ages to arrive and wasn't worth the wait. There are much better places to eat. Got really fed up with the waiters nagging us during the day when we walked past and were obviously going to the beach/shopping and not interested in food.They did the same in Sept 2002/July 2003/Sept 2003 - if they do it in July 2004 I am going to be.......fed up!

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment in Sept 02 - it was good. Each bedroom had a balcony - and the place was clean and comfy, but basic - but what else do you expect? Great location - quiet - but near to the action.
There were trainer footprints on the hallway wall- but hey - it was getting late in the season and can only blame previous holiday makers for the wall damage!!! Some people have no respect!!!
Have since tried to book into these apartments again, but can't find them in the brochure _ I think they were with Libra or Manos.

I'm going there summer 2004 (June 17)and I want to know if there is a handrail on the staircase leading to the upstairs apartments?

We stayed there for 2 weeks in July 2003 - it was good - basic but most apartments are! What do you expect? Very clean - lovely garden with fresh fruit (to be picked when the owners weren't looking).
Pool very near - but that was very noisy until 8 pm ish - no problem to us but suspect that it depends what you want from your holiday as to whether the pool is a bonus or not!!
Bars, beach etc etc are at the other side of a busy road - so watch it when you are staggering back....

Got back 2 weeks ago from another fortnight in Kardamena - when we first came here a couple of years ago we only had drinks and a Greek Salad. A couple of holidays ago we came here for evening meals and keep coming back!!Food is excellent and good value. Even got round to trying Greek dishes like Stifado and Lamb Kleftiko - both were excellent and the views over the sea are relaxing. Tony and Tommy keep you amused-watch out for them dropping trays to keep you on your toes!!!Gets very busy after 8.30pm so get there early!!(Tony - I told you I would amend my earlier review!)See you in Sept-2 Mythos please!

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment for the last 2 weeks in June 2004. It was basic but very clean - even had a kettle!! Balcony to both bedrooms - view over pot-holed car park which wasn't very scenic. Location was good for access to the quieter part of the beach and the Chrisopoulous and Posidonia restaurants (both good value food/service) - but still only a couple of minutes walk to the action at night. Was noisy when England got knocked out of World Cup - but otherwise quiet. On-site family owners were great. Would stay there again.

We stayed there in June 2003 and found the place to be typical for Greece - basic but clean. The Owners live on site so security was good. The gardens have loads of fruit trees - the owners did not mind us taking balcony furniture into the garden so we could enjoy a beer in the sun and picking the fruit - surrepticiously!. Some noise from Kool Pool opposite and Club revellers - but not too bad - and what the hell - everybody is on holiday.
The only down side for me was that coming "home" involved crossing a busy road - need to keep your wits about you if you have had a drink. But hey, was it the bus drivers fault if I had drunk too much and stepped in front of him?? Luckily - he missed!!!That said - have re-booked for 2005.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment in Sept 2002 via Goldensun Holidays (Libra)and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was basic but had two balconies and fans. Tried to re-book but couldn't find it in the brochures.
Location is great for beach, bars, restaurants = all within a couple of minutes - but also quiet.

Can't be that bad - we've just booked for 3 weeks in the same place for 2005 - and no it wasn't buy two weeks and get one free - we've paid for three weeks... that is how much we enjoy Kardamena - and we aren't young club goers.....

Just going thru comments on apartments and found that my previous comments had not given this place a rating - I must have done something wrong so I have entered this to try and remedy it.
Can't fault the apartments- only downside I can think of is the view over the car park.
