Kefalos is a beautiful place. It has the right balance of peace and quiet coupled with good bars and entertainment in the evening.
We stayed at the Manolis studios run by Babis, Maria, and Zoe. A great family run business where all the family greet you with a smile and teach you the odd Greek phrase. The pool is exceptionally clean and it is a great place to sun bathe as often a cool breeze blows to lessen the effect of the intense heat and effects of the sun.

Can anyone tell me where in kefalos this place exactly is, is it up the bendy hill towards the old village. I ve been to kefalos last year but i don t remember seeing it.

Manolis apartments/studios is available through Libra Holidays.
The apartments are basic, clean each with a good sized balcony facing the sea.
Each studio has hob, fridge, plates, forks and knives, a small dresser with mirror and two pin socket. The beds have lights above them and the showers are adequate and warm enough.
For all the time you spend in your room your worries about the accomodation are pointless as there is plenty to do in Kefalos.
At the side of the pool are ample sunloungers and bambis who works morning through night looks after the snack bar and caters for all your needs and queries. He is a polite and proud man who works long hours and encourages you to speak a little greek.
If you have young children then no worries as so does bambis and they offten play in the pool with other children.
If you should wish to leave the poolside and explore the resort then visit aghios stefanos beach, (five minute walk), Bubble beach (longer walk about 40 mins along busy road, better by bus), why bubble beach, well thats because theres bubbles in the sea !.
Visit the long sandy beach of Kefalos with its wide range watersports and should you wish to go further afield then hire a car and go wherever you want, the furthest place is only 45 mins away.
Sample the nightlife down at the harbour area where you will see most young couples go and enjoy those huge cocktails ! The bars and clubs in Kefalos are never excessive but for me they have the right balance of entertainment and music.
I can t wait to go back there this year in seven weeks !
