The apartment was very clean and the views are fantastic, with a small private beach fiercely defended by a very delightful man. Be careful when entering the water, the rocks are very sharp!! My foot is still healing after one week!! We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the apartments were, though not far from Bar Street and the local nightlife (which is great by the way). We only had a couple of nights when we were awakened by the sounds of those coming home at 5 or 6 am!! They were soon tucked up in bed and sound asleep. Sofia cleans the apartment every day (excluding Sunday), she speaks little English, but does a great job. I recommend tipping her at the end of your stay. Sofia and her husband?? were great on the day of check out, he helped carry the bags down the stairs. They were very thankful and waved goodbye to us from the balcony. For 2 stars this is a great place with friendly people. I would recommend Emiliana to both young and oldish.
Friendly staff and the portions are huge! If you have a small appetite, I would recommend sharing a starter and possibly a main course. We tried the traditional Greek food - Souvlaki (kebab). I had the mixed - beef, chicken (very tender) and pork. Others tried Stifado, Calzone, All served with rice, chips and veg.
A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We ate here twice and one of the waiters even remembered what we had ordered the first time around. Please note the restaurant is located in a lovely setting in an open courtyard - the second time we went it was very windy and the food got cold quite quickly. The Prawn spaghetti was nice, but you pay if you want the bigger prawns, and the fillet is to die for, very tender. The waiters are very good at upselling. Expensive, but worth a visit.
Nice restaurant overlooking the beach. Friendly staff and the food is great. Huge portions are served, so come with a big appetite! This restaurant is visited by the locals, so you feel that you are at least getting value for money.
The water has very sharp rocks - easy to slice open a foot! If you walk down past the Emiliana towards the Posidonia restaurant the water is sandy and much easier to walk into and swim. The other end - closer to the water sports is very busy.
