We stayed at the Mythos Apartments for the first time this September. The apartments are very nice and are in a superb location for the beach and resort centre. However, the pool and sunbathing areas are quite small. Although there are plenty of sunbeds, we thought that they were far too close together for comfort and due to the close proximity of the three apartment blocks, the pool and sunbeds were in the shade for much of the day.
It was great to visit Espyros again this summer. Stamatis, his family and staff were all very accomodating as usual. The food here is excellent. Ask Stamatis to advise on the dishes available, he is very helpful indeed. Very handy for refreshments when on the beach opposit where you can hire sunbeds from dad, Vassilis. We highly reccommend a visit here, you won't be dissappointed. Yamas Stamati! See you in May next year. Love to everyone.
It was really good to meet up with Theo, Kostos, Spiros and Bill once again. You are assured of a great welcome and fab times at Kovotis.
In answer to Lilly Edwards' questions. You will find it is normally in the mid 30'sC to low 40's C in August and September and all the apartments at the Mythos are great. Very clean and tidy. Hope this helps. We are going back to the Mythos on May 14th to celebrate our daughter Rachel's 18th birthday. Really looking forwared to being back in Tingaki. See you all soon.
Hi Katie,
We are returning to The Mayflower in October this year. Anyone else going then?
Can someone who has stayed at the Sunshine apartments Tingaki please tell us if the air con is extra and the cost per day please?
Sharon, you can catch the Tingaki bus from the main bus station just up the street from the big church. Ask anyone local and they will point you in the right direction. Ask the driver which bus, they are very helpful and it is only about 15 mins away. I seem to recall the cost is about £1.20. Hope this helps.
Staying at the Mythos again this September. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again soon.
On our way back to Tingaki in Sept this year. Looking forward to spending many a happy hour in Kovotis with Costos, Theo, Bill and Spiros.
We have eaten at the Grande Salle many times and have never had cause for complaint. Knowing George as we do we are sure if you complained politely he would put it right for you. On our way back to Tingaki in Sept this year and looking forward to some great wining and dining here.
We have spent many hours over the past ten years on this wonderful beach. Wether it be to the right on the sunbeds or to left for that all over tan. Don't be shy plenty of naturist bathers there without any complaints. The beach is never over-crowded so you can always get some tranquility here. It is simply fantastic. The best on Kos as far as we are concerned.
We have been eating here for many years. The food and sevice are second to none. Always assured of a warm welcome. Looking forward to meeting up with Stamatis and Nicos again in September this year. Yamas!
