Amfi - (Accommodation in Kardamena)

6 of us stayed at Amfi from 29th July til 13th August 2006. We found the apartments to be clean and safe and central to bars and resteraunts.

There is no air con so hiring a fan is advisable this is cheap to do and fans are available at most supermarkets for a small deposit.

The bathrooms are basic the shower is handheld but you get used to it.

The Rep who we named Rob the Knob really was ok. Go to the Blue Pool during the day time the staff are really friendly and theres pleanty of sun loungers and pool is large.

Beware of the cleaner she is small and greek speaks no English apart form Ok, No problem and Bye Bye! You usually hear her before you see her as she chats away in Greek to the old man who owns the apartments they are both around 100 yr old (at least!)

Pegasus - (Bars in Kardamena)

Good old pegasus - we laughed so much at the signs on the menus saying "Tonight you have cocktails in Pegasus tomorrow you rent car from Ilias"

The owner reminded me of Tom Conti's character in Shirley Valentine. One night I didnt go out and he said to my friends was I in the apartment alone or with boyfriend! ha ha

Cocktails were fab tho see photo above. I think this bar has been here since the 70's it needs updating but all in all not a bad place and reasonable.

Amazon - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

went to amazon twice in 2 weeks. We got the all inclusive drink and meal deal. Out of 6 of us only 1 person didnt enjoy it.

We had to laff at Nikoluas our "personal waiter" esp when he asked me if i'd like to eat my dessert off a plate or from his body.......

its worth going even if you just drink your 20 euros worth!

Didnt stay here but we used this pool as our apartments didnt have one, and i enjoyed it so much ive booked up for July next year to stay at the Kalia which are ajoining apartments for the Blue Pool. The Staff here are lovely. I can't wait to go back, theres a really good BBQ night round the pool with killer pool comp and karaoke.

Kalia Apartments - (Accommodation in Kardamena)

Noisy and full of large groups of teenagers!! The cleaner is lovelty but she does shout "Boys" a lot but if u are on the right side of her she is fine.
