We spent an awesome day at the Lido Waterpark. We booked it as an excursion through our rep (which is something I don't normally do). Went out on a bar crawl the night before so it was the perfect hangover cure. It's only been open for a couple of months so it is brand new for this season. They don't have many slides but the ones they do have are good, maybe as it's new they may add new ones to it. Had a really great kids section to it as well. The only bad point about the park was that we had to wait over an hour for just ordering a pizza and a sandwich at the cafe opposite the kids pool! Apart from that it's a great day out and you hardly have to queue for any of the slides.
Just arrived back from Kos this morning
I did mean to write more than what was in my previous comments but posted it by accident! Just wanted to say that if you are looking for place to stay where you truly chill out in the daytime and want the partying for the nightime this is the place to stay. It's about 3.5kms out of the main resort but has easy access (1.30 euro by bus or 7 euro by taxi). The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool area is great with a 24 hour pool bar, sky TV and they serve great bar snacks throughout the day which are good value for money. The pool itself it really nice and a great way to cool down. It's the perfect size and has the sun on it all day long. Nik, Denise & Uri make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The other guests staying there were all really friendly. It's a great place to make new friends. The beach nearby has great watersports facilities and a nice sandy beach. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and I will be going back again. Just also wanted to say thanks to my new friends Adam, Vic, Jude & Emma for such a good laugh and great nights out and hope to see you all soon.
