Lots of bars, restaurants, tavernas & shops. Nice beach, deep shelving water, even a shipwreck. Try TASSOS Restaurant (has No-Smoking area), try LIGHTHOUSE Welsh Bar (karaoke & reasonable drinks), try COCKTAILS & DREAMS Bar (quick service) & LAZY DAYS cafe bar (English Chef serving big portions until 5.30pm) - great place, lots to do (even a MacDonalds for the kids) We went Sept/Oct and it was still VERY HOT.
These Apts are in perfect location - Rooms 12, 13, 14, 20 & 22 all have lovely sea views, and even overlook a shipwreck. They are above a snack bar which serves good food until early evening. The studios are basic (although already had washing up liquid & handwash in them) but the cleaner is not magnificent. Please check your mattress cover & pillows before sleeping in them. Apart from this problem, they are ideal - close to everything. You can hire 2 sunbeds from Sunbeam for 6 Euros (7 Euros is going rate), but if you walk along 50 mtrs (away from centre) to Lazy Dayz (English Chef) or Pillbox, you can have sunbeds free of charge if you buy a drink (50c water, 1.50e Mythos/Amstel)
good quick service by two lovely Bulgarian sisters - cocktails brilliant (2.50e) - Mythos/Amstel (1.50e) - as usual though, when football season starts, they had 4 different games on 4 different screens here! Good prices, brilliant cocktails & friendly staff.
Great Greek & European food served here. They even have a Non-Smoking area (unusual in Greece!). 2 main courses, Bread & butter, 2 drinks cost approx 12-15 Euros, well worth it. Go on - try Greek food here - very authentic. My husband is a Chef, and VERY fussy, and he loved it!
Great food, Great portions & decent prices. Pity they stop serving at 5.30pm. They have an English Chef so the food is lovely - only drawback is that they refuse to do poached eggs!
