To anyone who has been to Kefalos and especially who have stayed at the Hermes Hotel.. I am taking
a trip there in July and would like as much info
as possible. I like places with a traditional
Greek villages, food, culture, life etc.. Will I
like it here? Is it a safe friendly place for
someone travelling alone?
I will be staying at the Hermes when I go to Kos at the end of June, do they have saftey deposit boxes? Also, how far exactly is the hotel from
the beach and resort centre? And is the walk
back at night okay? Any other info would be
very much appreciated. Thanks.
Hello, its me again. One more question, re:
Hermes Hotel, do they hire fans? Or is there
anywhere I can hire a fan? Thanks.
I have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday at the Hermes,
and I can honestly say that I have never come across more friendly,
accommodating, staff. The atmosphere was so happy and relaxed, guest
ages are various, end June/begin July mostly 35-60+ but getting
younger, couples and families. I should imagine that there will be
more families with young children there when the school holidays start. Definately not a hotel for 18-20 party goers. I hope I can
go back again next year because I had the best time and met lots of
great people and new friends. If you want to see a photo check out
the Airtours Greece brochure. You won't find a better hotel anywhere
on Kos than the Hermes, and although it may be a little bit away from
the resort, the view from most balconies, bar, restaurant and pool
makes up for everything, its just fantastic!
