(As we who have been to Kefalos know, the best thing about the place is the lovely people - which unfortunately isn't a category to be marked on this page. Go into the Stamatia Taverna - nearest one to the sea,near the bus circle and ask for Antonio (owner), Michael (waiter) or Katerina (A's daughter) and say Ray says hello and he'll be back soon. We all have friends in Kefalos, once you have been.

To LIz Lliteras - havent stayed at the Kontessa but know it - looks v.nice, and well located. Owned by a woman called Katerina who is supposed to be nice also. If you want to meet areally usefula nd helpful person, see joyce (Canadian married toa Greek) at the Askiplion Tours office towards the harbour. She is a friend of Katerinas, and really helpful - I think she has young kids also. Enjoy Keflaos, we love the place -and have made friends with the people at the Stamatia Taverna - near the beach at the bus circle. Geat people, and a table overlooking the beach/ sea is the best place to eat dinner (tell Michael the waiter that Ray and JAckie said hello)
