First went here last Sept/Oct (2004) and thought the place was absolutely fantastic along with the wonderful staff and so this year we could not wait to get back for the first 2 weeks of the season. We had an even better time this time and it was great to see everybody again as they all remembered us - even the chef who makes lovely food especially Greek Plate. If you are going to Kardamena  DO NOT MISS THE AMAZON RESTAURANT. It is the best night in town and such fantastic value at 20 euros (In September/Oct we got it for 15). Went to see the sunset whilst we were in Kardamena in May this year. We found a lovely restaurant called Olympia - Pass the shops as you get off the bus and as you get past turn up the sharp right and up the little hill only one restauant which is on left hand side. The man who runs it is really friendly and the food was lovely. I had a greek plate starter which was more like a main meal in some of the other places and was really lovely. Next I had goat with rice and there was such a lot I could not finish it, unfortunately. My partner, who was not feeling too good that day, had a special omelette which came with real chips and salad. We had 2 carafes of wine each and the bill came to 34 euros which we thought was extremely good for what we had. Before we left the owner insisted we had a complimentary Metaxa which I would never turn down - Thankyou.

Sorry but have to disagree. We thought the best was KATERINA.

This day was fantastic - 20euros and that includes lunch as stated. The captain was really nice bloke and the rest of the crew also lovely, lovely trip and excellent value for money. Another good thing they have a bar on board and the drinks are really cheap which really surprised us as you usually find them a bit expensive on such trips

I would recommend this trip to everyone and will definitely be going on it the next time we are in Kos.

Went here every night again when we went last may but when we went in october - oh dear NO STAVROS  just not the same although the other staff are still as good but the place is defintely missing Stav for the wonderful entertainment he used to provide.
