My friend Joanna and I stayed in the Oscar Hotel for the first 2 weeks in October 2004.  While we found the rooms a little on the cramped side everything else about the hotel was good.  The staff were friendly, the rooms were well cleaned every day.  The location was excellent.   

My friend Joanna and I stayed at the Oscar Hotel for the first 2 weeks in October 2004.  The hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool area was lovely.  The only complaint I would have is that the rooms were very cramped, but considering the small amount of time you actually spend in the rooms that wasn't that big a problem.  The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful harbour.
