Zeus Hotel - (Accommodation in Kefalos)
Pen D My partner and I are staying at Zeus in August this year and we know it gets very hot in Kefalos at that time of year. Can anyone who has stayed at Zeus before tell us if Air Con is availible in ALL rooms and how much it costs roughly for 2 weeks? Thanks

Evangelia Studios - (Accommodation in Kefalos)
Pen D Does anyone know which tour operater (if any) has taken over the Evangelia since Golden Sun went bust. I stayed at the Evangelia twice and thought it good.
Kosmar - (Tour Operators on Kos)
First time with Kosmar. Generally very positive. John the rep was at the hotel when he was meant to be, which was a bonus. The fact he spoke Greek really helped. (Not many reps do these days!!!!).
Only grumbles - Kosmar need to ensure they have better Air line companies, as Air Scandic are damaging Kosmar's good reputation in my opinion! Also, the 3 Island Tour was very disappointing for the money. In future we would not book this through Kosmar, we would book it using the local tour company, as at 35 euros, it simply was a rip off!. Although we did hear that if John goes on the 3 Island Tour, it is a totally different experience (a better one!)Acropol - (Bars in Kefalos)
3rd visit to Kefalos and as usual spent at least part of every day in Acropol! Although Kefalos itself was very quiet, people were still enjoying manhy days and evenings in Acropol. Maria is now married and her husband regularly drives past Acropol on his number 7 bus!!!! George is still lovely, although this year he was right in what he was saying about "not mahy tourists". Food is EXCELLENT. Nothing is too much trouble for the family. They even drove us the distance to our accommodation for our pick up on departure day - service or what??!
Stop In - (Restaurants in Kefalos)
Great food, excellent service. May not have the sea views, but with first class food and atmosphere, who needs the sea????
Golden Fleece - (Restaurants in Kefalos)
Excellent place to eat! Good quality home cooked food. Have eaten there on all 3 visits Kefalos. English waiter Andy is pleasant and Greek chef is best ever!
