Been to Tingaki 4 times now and each time we have eaten at Espyros. It is on the beach road just along from the main square. The service is first rate. The food is always excellent whether a Greek meal or a well done steak. Stamatis (the owner) is really nice and is always available to give advice on the meals if you are unsure. Nikos is also very friendly and helpful. Espyros also does a really nice English Breakfast with Heinz baked beans and black pudding if you want it. And yes, we will be going back as soon as we can, as we think that Tingaki is the best resort in Kos. Ron and Joan
Stayed at Miros three times now. Went back July 08 and was really pleased to see that Miro had installed air conditioning in all the rooms. There is always a good mixture of people there. The pool is a good size for the amount of people. There is a nice poolside bar which does breakfast and lunch. The rooms are well laid out. the cleaning staff are excellent and all the reception staff speak good English. We think it is a really good location with the beach just across the road and it is walking distance to the main square in Tingaki. A bus goes to Kos town and stops outside the entrance of Miros.
After reading the reviews on this site about the peacocks we decided to take a look when we went back this year. We found the pine forest straight away. it is very large and we don't know how we never noticed it on our travels before, as we have passed the road leading to it many times on our way to Kefalos. The peacocks are more like 'raptors from Jurassic Park! We took some bread with us - which is a must. There is also a small wooden bridge in the trees, which you cross and there is a pond with terripins in it (who also like the bread). It is very cool in the trees and a welcome respite from the heat.
