Just returned from Club Akti 16 June 04 - 30th June 04. I found the food disgusting at this restaurant. A party of 4 adults and 2 children returned 2 starters and 1 main course and failed to eat 2 mains.
It was like naafi food and would not recommend this place to anybody.
The waiters did not dress the part either and looked unclean and untidy.
Most disgusting night on the island!!!

Beautiful setting and good service but didn`t return there cos I felt conned. Party of 4 adults 2 children ate there probably 2nd night of holiday. Having visited a few Greek Islands I requested Lamb Kleftiko. I got Farmhouse Lamb pie containing a few miniscule pieces of lamb. When I complained I was told it was the same thing and it was their way of cooking it. I was then offered grilled Lamb chops!!! Needless to say we did not go there again thourh the setting is gorgeous.

there between 16th - 30th June this restaurant was the only one that we visited more than once. Food was regularly good and service 2nd to none.

BEWARE!!!!
Visited Kos 16th-30th June and ate at the Taj one evening, a party of 4 adults and 2 young children. Adults had starters each and main courses with wine and poppodums. Service and Food were superb but the bill left us with a poor aftertaste... By far the most expensive meal on our holiday and we were all inclusive and just fancied an Indian!! ... 168 euros almost double the price of most places we ate at
