Akti Dimis Hotel - (Accommodation in Tingaki)

Melanie T

We are just back from Kos after staying in Akti Dimmys in Tingaki for 2 weeks.

We had an EXCELLENT holiday and would definatly go back.

Angela, George, Irene, Maria and Athena were all great. Angela was very helpful, Maria was a great cook, Irene and George were very entertaining behind the bar and Athena is a really good boss!

The beach is right across the road and the pool is very clean with sunbeds all round it.

There is plenty to do in Kos, we were busy for the full 2 weeks. We visited Nisorous, the volcano which was really good - it was 38deg that day which was really quite hot!
We went to the Greek Night up in Zia which had free wine the whole evening.
Paradise Beach is great as we went Jet Skiing, Paragliding and I went on the Fly Fish which has to be done.
Theres scuba diving, a lazy day cruise and day trips to Turkey. Turkey is nice to go to and the market and really cheap. We were worried before we went as we did hear of lots of bad reports and stories but it was fine once you were there.

Esperos and 7Dayz are both nice places to eat in Tingaki and cheap too.

Akti Dimmys is a great place to stay so hopefully I will see you all there in 2006!

Tingaki Resort - (Resorts on Kos)

Mel & neil

Hi Fliss,

My partner and I went to Kos in Sept 05 and are going back in Sept this year, we love Tingaki. Im early 20's and my partner is late 20's although neither of us are into partying there are still plenty of bars and resteraunts to choose from.

To be honest other than all the pubs I dont think there are any nightclubs but I could be wrong. If you are looking for somewhere you can bathe in the sun during the day and have an entertaining drink in the evening then look no further.

Over the past couple of years we have been abroad a couple of times and rate Kos/Tingaki well above anywhere else we have been hence going back and cannot wait!!!!

Regards,
Mel and Neil

Day trip to Turkey - (Kos Excursions)

Mel & neil

Hi Alan,

We went on the trip to Turkey 3 years ago and plan it again this year too!  I do remember there being a group of older people most of which had walking aids and they went on the trip and loved it!  I'm sure your wife will be ok as there will be people there to help and im sure she will be given priority to get on/off first.

P.S - we are staying in Tingaki also in September!
