I am going to Kos in August this year.  We are staying in the Captains Hotel and our friends are staying in the Sophia Beach Apartments.  How far away are we from them please.

On the website it say B&B plus air conditioning is included in the price.  Am I right in thinking that this is just if your booking direct????  in which case you still pay for your airconditioning if like me your going through Airtours????

Kos was really nice, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.  Spent a lot of time in Blues Brothers and Shennanigans on a night time.  Spent most days on the beach at the Sunburn Arms, Yannis, Sam and not forgetting Anastasia were so welcoming and friendly.  If your read this Sam thanks for the wine it was lovely.  Went on a couple of boat trips and can recommend the Santa Maria as the guy on there is entertaining to say the least and you get quite a lot for your 20 euros.  I wouldn't say there is a great deal to do if you have kids, Kardamena looked as though it would have more for kids than Kos Town.  Weather red hot, food lovely (back to fat club for me) and alcohol flowing.  Would definately go back.

 

Captains Hotel is basic but very clean.  Maids were lovely and arranged your night clothes into pretty fans on the bed, which I thought was lovely but being male my partner thought I was silly to be so impressed.  Price of the beer in the hotel was very reasonable as well.  Ideally situated to get to beach and nightlife. Breakfast is continental but that suited me to the ground.  Overall very pleasant and I would stay there again.
